how tight is the elastic band? is it able to stay above yo waist?
I think these cost 4x what a Walmart hoodie costs but it has 4x as much cotton in it (accounting for weight and poly blend), and its also made in USA.

Go for a large for sure. Especially after you wash and dry it.
