I use this as my main weapon. I find one in concentrated fire locks on them easier for the legendary perks to take effect. Also, greneader 2 and Demolition Expert. You take out crowds with one hit 🎉
Bloodied or Vampire are the best rolls for this. Anti armor not so much due to Incisor Perk. Power Attack Damage is reeeeally good. Afted adding shockpads this hits like a truck!
@@DadPlaysStuff armor pen is only really valuable like that against bosses. There are some very nice videos of Angry turtle testing/explaining how armor pen works on f76.
I miss pre damage nerf 76, loved one shotting eveything with unarmed and melee. And it sas perfectly balanced because glass cannon! Now the rail is king and one shotting most things is rare :(
@@DadPlaysStuff I agree, balance is needed however the current game is a horrible display of balance. Good balanced gameplay would have great risk reward like "I can one shot most things but I can also get one shot relatively easily" like how unarmed was, but what the games turned into is "I can two shot everything but I can't die if I spam healing solve/stims in pa". It makes me so sad to see the state of balance the game is in because at level 1000+ anyone should be able to one shot a super mutant with a semi automatic or melee weapon it would just make sense gameplay wise. I really hope one day they buff all semi-auto and Melee weapons but don't nerf commando, let everyone have their fun y'know?
@@DadPlaysStuff sorry for the long comment lol, I've been playing since launch and I greatly miss legacy's and the OG damage system. They definitely shoulda just removed legacy's and kept the OG damage system no one was complaining about "doing too much damage" other than the insane unarmed damage which got nerfed and legacy's which were removed so their was no real reason for the damage system change.
I did a few rolls on the Gauntlet the other night and got a similar anti armor roll. I was disappointed when I discovered that no skin exists in the game for this weapon. Come on Bethesda! Add a skin for the Gauntlet

It all depends on the target, against a ghoul for sure not...against the 3 robots ...the extra armor pen is more significant than you think.

The nerf needed to happen, in fallout 4 it made sense to do x y and z but in a multiplayer version balance is needed.

which mod do you use for the health bar segments? Ive looked for some but they all seem outdated

And ultracite lazer and also the tommy gun (not counting elders mark as a skin that’s a whole weapon)

If only it were bloodied or aristocrats, would be amazing. But even with a virtually dead 1st effect, still does great cuz it’s a great weapon. 👍
