thank you so much for your time and info.
Thanks for watching!
Nice playing!
I have one of these and it's a blast to play
Yes me to, the cutaway FG version, STUNNING sound 😊😊😊
Need to visit Tarpleys in Burleson I remember the other store by
the RR tracks and Renfro.
James.Just bought the FG TA after last BG Jam session
12 days ago. Brent Walls at G C sold it to me used. Clean
to the max!!! It'll be in my stable for many a moon. The store
you occupied became David"S Music GoRound, Correct?
Tried one out at Guitar Center that sounded great unplugged. However I didn't see a tone control for when plugged in?
I noticed on the one i bought the strings are a little high off the knek of the guitar ?
Have the guitar professionally setup, it will make a big difference.
@@4jrbirdman Thank's will do ! :)
I'd agree
I wonder if the LS is a better choice?
Depends on if the extra cost is worth it to you for the LS model. The built-in effects are exaclty the same, so the differences are you get an Engelmann Spruce A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treated top, ebony materials, rosewood back & sides, and a hard bag. - If you've got the cash to spare, then I say go for it and get the LS.
The LS has solid top, back and sides vs laminate back and sides.
I think the LS comes with the semi solid gig bag but the FS doesn't.
The LS has a 3 piece mahogany or rosewood neck vs the FS having a one piece Nato neck.
Wish there was a light to tell if it was on or off.
There is a light on the inside that will turn on when it is activated, but you have to flip the guitar to see it. Not very useful. - Definitely agree that there should be some kind of indication of the system activation that is visible to the player in the playing position.
You can just hit a note lol
Wish there was a lefty version of the TA
im so thankful to not be a lefty..good luck out there brother
I am so sad that I can’t afford it for $599 on Amazon
I have a 'sad' sorry about this guitar....I lost my voice in1999 - couldn't sing a lick~after playing and singing 30 plus yrs in church. A friend who owned a high end music store in batavia, ny said I think you should buy this FS TA VT yamaha cause I believe you're going to sing again. So I did....played it at the time of purchase in 2018 and never again until Oct of 2023 when my voice began coming back....I played it 15 min a day to build back up my calluses, probably 5/7 days.....after 8 months the internal workings STOPPED WORKING. Yamaha offered no help as there was only a one yr warranty....and the CS they gave....well the two 'service places for yamaha in NY state were closed(and they didn't even know it)~ I am an older person, don't jam an instrument.....and...can find no help to repairand furious that i now have to have a probably high end BILL for replace of the system 70 internals..THAT I PLAYED FOR 8 MONTHS...I'm beside myself....Unfortunately my friend that owned the music store died in 2020...but i know she would have said, bring it back, I will give you a new one as it should NOT have died in an 8month period and let me worry about dealing w/ yamaha....she always put CS first, thus she had a great reputation and business. Needless to say, I am stressed....all that said, it IS a lovely sounding instrument.....will I ever get it fixed w/o paying an additional arm and leg,....thats the question I am not faced with.... again, sadly, yamaha was no help.....at all....AND no repair places to easy access in NY state. Thanks for your review of this instrument.....
