In Indonesia we have a unique and bigger species in here. They are geniotrigona thoracica, homotrigona fimbriata, tetrigona apicalis, etc.

Sam John yay glad to have a comment from India!! Welcome. Summer is like 26 degrees and above generally. The music is Aaron Nebauer a local guitar player. Cool huh! Aaron went to India. He loves your drums.

Hi Nick! Great vid mate. Been watching many of your videos for knowledge. I'm in Tully between Cairns and Townsville. Trying to catch a native bee swarm. Any tips? Everyday they are about and checking my boxes/logs I made

Mitchell Holland yep. Get some wax from a friend and use steel box section in cairns suburbs. 50/70mm box section is good.

Robert Louie Manlapaz yeah it’s not so bad. Try using some poly pipe in your entrance.

I just got a hive in a huge log. I dont know the species of these native stingless bees.
I am in Brisbane, Runcorn. If you like come and see them.

Awesome!!! Most of the species around Brisbane in logs are Tetragonula , either carbonaria or Hockingsi and you can sometimes tell by their entrance tunnels. If it’s really covered in resin that looks shiny it’s usually carbonaria. If the look is smokey without sticky appearance it’s usually Hockingsi. What one do you think you have?

    Plz answer my doubt...
I have a stingless bee hive, but the hive doesn't have enough worker bees..
So I have a plan... I am going to capture a lot of worker bees from a natural hive in a bottle which is at a certain distance from my home...
Then I am gonna release those Bees near my hive...
My question is ... Does this is gonna get into my hive and work for my hive????
