I was thinking of the '70s with the way the appliances of the day were burnt orange, avocado and gold. LOL But these are much prettier than those old colors. Great pendants with the dried flowers

The flower with spikes you ask about at the start is a nigella orientalis. The fluffy spikey one is a ming fern/asparagus fern and sometimes called fluffy cloud fern. Edit: While I'm naming stuff, I think I saw the white balls you said felt like poly might be a rice flower. But I couldn't get a good look at it. The white leaf you put in the background was bleached hydrangea, and the other very tiny flower I think may have been valentine grass.

The green ones are my favorites even though the brown does pop more. I just love the low key relaxed feeling of the green ones. Sometimes understated can be nice. 🙂
Hi Claire. I love these, and Autumn is my favourite season, so you've hit a special chord with these. That orange would have looked 100% better with a little more dark brown, and maybe even a touch of red in it to make a true burnt orange colour. It overpowered the florals almost to the point of making them invisible, but the rest of these are gorgeous!

Beautiful. You were on the right track when you added bronze to the orange. What if you went the next step and mixed brown with the orange? Also darkening the green a bit should make the flowers pop.

I love the green, instead of orange maybe a burgundy- still an autumn-y color. could you add brown to the backs of the orange pieces, that would leave a sliver edge of the orange and the brown might darken what you see from the front?
I work at Dollar Tree and our fall stuff is going out as we speak! We must have at least 15 different types and styles of pumpkins! And the flowers 😮….
Stunning jewlery Claire! I would have tried adding a little of your brown into the orange. You could try using an alcohol marker and put black on the back of the orange ones. It may darken the color enough so you can see the flowers better. Next time you could add a tiny bit of brown to the olive to get a darker olive color. Olive was my favorite color of the 3 at the start. However I agree the brown was definitely the winning combination in the end! Your fluffy pearl flowers are called Baby's Breath.
The brown and green backgrounds are gorgeous, the orange just swallowed up the dried flowers but that's just a lack of contrast I think. Great job Claire.
Sorry I dropped off the live earlier but we had a power cut and lost the internet. I love these so much! The orange ones are still beautiful but if you added a black pumpkin silhouette vinyl cutout or temporary tattoo I think it would work really well and give it some nice contrast.
That lightest green is very close to one of my home decor colors. ETA: the brown /is/ the neutral in my decor. Thus, I can only recommend trying again with a really rich, saturated, true red in place of the orange.

I LOVE GREEN! Always have; it’s nature’s color. I like the green pendants the best and I think less is more. I like the simple, one plant per pendant.

A lot of those dried flowers have seeds. Best way to find out what they are is to to plant some of them.

Try a little black or brown with the orange to make it darker/take away some of the yellow in the orange.
