I can't the ritual of peaceful souls anywhere, is there something missing from my game or what? Does anyone know if it still works in more recent versions?
@@marzulestreams4532 its probably divine journey 2 and its not in the pack so the quest book says to spawn hostile mobs with a powered spawner or cursed earth
@@MrSwartz69 really cursed earth is the easiest way to go if it's in the pack. Interactions didn't have it, so I had to resort to peaceful. Mob variety also helps apparently, but both methods take care of that
Hi so I built this just now on glacticraft and it worked great got like half a stack of each crystal in the first minute of it running but the ritual killing the mobs isn't putting will in the chunk so it stalls out. I put more crystals into the chest that leads to crucibles and it grows a lot more than it takes but it's not automating itself. I had to use the cache things from thermal expansion but I copied everything else you did. Do by chance know why this isn't working?
not sure if I did something wrong, I followed this same tutorial on an old playthrough of divine journey 2 a couple years ago and it worked perfectly, but I'm playing through again and doing this seems to not work anymore. It just isn't gaining, it slowly eats through all the will crystals until there is none left even if you aren't using any will. I have 2 of each type of clusters on the ground and they are gaining offshoots and cracking off but it seems like there is diminishing returns or something now where you get less than you put in doing this method. Maybe there is an RNG factor that I'm just getting slapped in the face with preventing the growth rate above the consumption rate of the crystals, idk. Any help is appreciated
@marzulestreams4532 I figured it out. It took quite a bit of looking around to find it because everything about this mod is kinda vague. It's the killing blow that the ritual actually needs to get the bonus otherwise it's pretty much a 1 to 1 rate with some loss through the rituals. I was using a spawner with sheep in a small area underneath it and it wasn't killing enough enemies to get enough of the bonus to get a net positive. I added another spawner but chickens (less health, more killing blows) and it fixed it. I swear I used sheep the last time I did this and it worked. Idk what's different now.

You may need to jump start it with a bit of extra will. Do you have a tartaric gem in a hellfire forge in the same chunk? That could be siphoning some as well. You can also boost it by adding more mob types as well

Do different mob type give better results? I have 2 enderio powered spawners on chickens right now (both with octadic capacitors for maximum mob spawning)
Drawers are the usual choice but FTB interactions doesn't have them enabled. Caches from thermal expansion would work too. Really any lockable storage solution

It miiiight require Animus. I'm not sure because I've never played with them separately. If you can't make the ritual of peaceful souls, any other method of spawning in mobs will work. Just make sure the mobs can die. I recommend a stabilized spawner, powered spawner, or something similar
I'm running FTB Interactions, so the only relevant mod I think I used was Animus for the ritual of peaceful souls. Without that, I recommend any mod that allows you to spawn monsters without a player in the vicinity. Powered spawners from enderio for example.
It’s going to be a little of topic but do you know how to summon demons in Blood Magic 1.12.2? Personally i couldn’t find any information about it other than the old versions of it. Nice video btw!
@@realties900 so to get blood shards make a bound blade and kill stuff. So you need to make binding reagent and combine using arcane ashes with the sword that it calls for. Edit: add looting, it helps
I already have weak blood shards as you suggested using a bound sword with looting on it. I am looking a way to obtain this: ftb.gamepedia.com/Demon_Blood_Shard But wiki hasn’t been updated because at 1.12.2, you don’t use demon blood shards to make an archmage’s blood orb. It’s still used in crafting a enhanced trasposition focus. Also i would like to see if they added anything new to the old demon summoning part of the mod.
@@realties900 my guess is they haven't. I think they removed it entirely. I've played all the way through it's implementation in several packages and it's never been mentioned or incorporated at this point.
I see you said spawners would work if you don’t have the ritual of peaceful souls. Would the veil of evil ritual work instead as well? Or am I missing something?
No idea! I'm not sure what that one does honestly. Any mob generation method should work fine. Cursed earth, spawners, mov duplicators, etc. As long as the mobs are killable. It definitely helps for them to have less health, however, so in reality chickens or silverfish are gonna be some of the best choices

What pack are you using? It's part of the Animus Mod, iirc, so it won't always be included

@@tpratt1991 what kind of enemies are getting killed? It benefits from variety iirc. I also don't know if DJ2 is set up differently at all

@@35Ril yeah supposedly more types makes more will. I didn't know that when I made the video, since the peaceful souls ritual makes a bunch.

What can I use as a substitute to those barrels? I'm using the generic FTB revelation build, which sadly doesn't have those.

So I am trying to recreate this in my SkyFactory 3 world and I can't find Resonance of the Faceted Crystal ritual anywhere.
Have you upgraded your ritual diviner to the dusk tier?

Yes. The Will builds up in a single chunk. You *can* do things with pylons to spread it around, but it's easiest to do just one.

Stick you tartaric gem in a hellfire forge in the same chunk. Every time the will gets burned in the will crucibles it will send some to the gem.
