These are surprisingly good! I bought chains a long while back, because I wasn't sure about how socks would perform. They're not bad. 👍👍
    Thank you for the test

I was surprised with their performance, def a huge upgrade to all seasons. Smaller for snow tires.

Have you tried a premium tire sock like AutoSock? We're the original tire sock, and the only one approved across the US!

I just bought a new explorer in Michigan that was a southern vehicle so little to no rust. After slot of research all see is horror stories from actual undercoating spray. That fluid film seems best bet. But can I wash my car every week that does a hard power wash under the vehicle without ruining the coating. And would I just be as good off to just wash it every week and skip the undercoat as it's only $40 a month for unlimited premium wax washes with extra "undercarriage spray". Appreciate your opinion as you seem well informed and I'm stuck on choosing

They say 25 is the maximum speed. What happens if you go past that? Say you're on an unplowed road, and realize you're now doing 50? Will the socks fall apart?

It’s a lot easier for them to catch on your fender, I think also if you have to brake or turn it’s more likely to rip them.

Definitely work good in a pinch, but always get snow tires anyway if you can.
