Great review of the Cuda HD; especially from a 5 year perspective. How skinny can the yak get? I fish the marshes in the upper Texas coast and I find myself in water as low as 6". Also, how does the Cuda do paddling against strong currents. Is it sluggish or does it cut through the current nicely? Thanks in advance.
It does a great job in skinny water. I regularly fish the back of the creeks off the ICW which is loaded with oyster shell and very shallow, especially at low tide. In strong current it does well and tracks true. Of course, you would get more glide out of a longer hull. I have really beat the heck out of it to, and it's held up well.
Thank you so much for this video. Fantastic review. Exactly what I was looking for.
I'm glad it was helpful. Thanks for watching.
Topsail NC? I'm in wilmington
Right on! Do you kayak fish?
@TopsailOutdoorAdventures yes sir, I have the same kayak. Problem is trying to find a place to launch around here.
@@JuberKnows You're welcome to join me on an outing. I have quite a few easy in/easy out locations here around TI.
