Love Keeley pedals and I'm strictly a slide guitarist due to a disability I have but I Know tons of slide players use compressors sometimes as a boost or a sustain assist but my picking hand is weak and I have a lot of inconsistency with how hard I hit the strings would this honestly help level out the volume dip for lack of a better term?
Hey Matt, I know it's been 5 years and I hope you're still playing. I think you'd find absolute magic with running the Keeley Comp + into the JHS Clover preamp.
This is my dream compressor pedal!!! It'd be the perfect Valentine's Day present for me, but, since I'm single, I'd gladly accept the special "Lovely Apple Fuzz you're giving away. 😊
The katana and compressor plus should automatically be in everyones chain.. seriously though, no better compressor or clean boost... now add that lovely apple to it and you have all the necessary tools to serenade that special someone😂
Just noticed that you had the pedal set up for humbuckers when you were playing the Jazzmaster. But although they may seem to be humbuckers, they are actually single coils. Nonetheless, great pedal!
Keeley Electronics was just about to buy the sp comp but this changed my mind. Are there any plans to make midi controlled Keeley pedals with presets like the source audio eq? Now off to rewatch the d&m drive vid again....
For a demo, I'm not impressed. The guy plays one chord without the compressor and then goes on for a few minutes with it on. Would be nice to at least hear the same melody or chords for 10-20 seconds with and without the compressor. Oh well.
1:53 - "She's such a charmer, OH NO!" Love that tune. One of my all-time favorite albums!
I’m so glad there’s a blend control! Sold!
Absolutely love my new Keeley Compressor Plus!
Really dig the Strat sound through the Comp +
Amazing product that makes my rig sound better 100%, recommend this for any rig
Great tones and great playing!!!

It would, honestly thats the what the compressor is for. It'll even everything out quite nicely!
Glad your still playing despite your hand issues...

sounds very good :)
Great playing
beatifull comp!
What is the song played at 1:55? i know it really well but can't name it
If it hasn’t been found yet, Kings of Leon- charmer.
Would this work with a fender pj (passive) style instrument?
So do compressors just make your guitar sound better overall?
Best compressor ever made
Is that pedal too much noisy or none?

Good eye! We tried both settings but found that the humbucker setting sounded a little fatter and better for the sound we were going for.
Good to know! I guess that means I'll get a free pedal now for "my services", right? ;)
Sounded great. That dude's playing is superb
And he's my spiritual adviser too. He's amazing.

Now you just need some big ol' Filtertrons and a Danelectro lipstick to round this out
Good idea! I'd love to hear both of those paired with a Comp +!

Yes, my thoughts exactly!
