This was the perfect conclusion for their underground stuff. their sound has evolved so much since they formed and they perfectly show it here. Every track is a banger. It's sastisfying seeing artists evolve their sound so well. The last underground tape they put out before they dropped Mystic Stylez and the rest was 20 years of success and a huge impact on music. goated tape
@@ohianawI don't remember where I read this, but Mystic Stylez was supposedly released as an underground tape awhile before they got signed and pressed CDs. The OG was just a clear shell tape and white label like this Spring Mix '95 tape. Don't take this too seriously though, as I gotta go find the source, but to be honest, I believe it.
Ripped from my personal copy (from Cartoyz stereo store on Elvis Presley Blvd). Didn't add or remove anything. I remember the day this tape came out. I wore this thang out!
This was a bumpin' tape from these guys, even though it was too short, that was my only complaint about it. They do apologize for the extra space though 😆😆😆
Word was that Paul used to sell these out of his trunk at the “SkateWorld” in West Memphis where I grew up. Shout out to the old Music stores like Craft’s West Memphis and then Cats and PopTunes in Memphis.
Yessir! We went to West Memphis a lot to push our tapes. Craft's was one of the top stores that moved tapes for us across the river. I still have my consignment forms from Craft's.
I used to hate 36. But as i listened to them this year, they blew my mind. I'm glad Krayzie Bone n DJ Paul fixed shlt as i woulda still jus ignored em. Which is dumb on my part.

before mystic stylez dropped on the streets and changed everything 🔥🔥
They probably dropped this in March or April. This was the last of their underground tapes before the behemoth that is Mystic Stylez

Yep. It was the last one before Mystic Styles dropped.
Niceeeee rip, clean asf! Do you possibly know the sample that appears at 15:20 of Gettin Real Buck too?
Gangsta blac
If you're talking about that background music that kicks in, I don't know. It's a hard sample though.
