      You deserve to be happy" Do you though, does anybody really deserve to be happy? Lack of challenge and true adversity in people's lives leads them to feeling empty and generally unhappy. People are not meant to live in perfect comfort we are meant to work and strive for something not sit on our phones and watch mind numbing videos for hours and hours until we eventually get tired and go to sleep only to wake up and do the same thing again, physical labor is therapeutic everyone should do some form of strenuous physical exercise.

    If you get busy, challenge your self to the max, volunteer, give your life to God, family, to others and less of yourself - your anxiety will be gone. We as a society are so self fulfilling and centered, we can't see past our own gratifications and selfishness. Before you could'nt conveniently get food, homes and have it all mentality - you didn't have time to say "its all about myself." Each of us are on this earth - not for ourselves, but based on our blessings and talents - give to others be it a family member, children, spouse, work or neighbor and country. When we have so much time that we have too much free time to feel empty and we try to fill it with things about ourselves, so we never get filled. We reach out to others and they tell us what they think we need and it only works temporarily. The answer is within ourselves, you have to dig deep, stop being self centered and live for others and not just for yourself. Keep busy and productive and you will find a purpose and not think about what's in it solely for me. The couch teachers think they have all the answers, they hit or miss and then charge you. Anxiety is a feeling that we allow to feel when we are insecure. Face your fears, you will overcome. Overall its a choice.

    This was incredible to hear, I like many was struggling in my teens to early adulthood which had me turn to alcohol which gave me a relaxed feeling finally. Then of course it becomes an addiction which ends up creating more issues that need healing, I ended up getting the help I needed in a hospital & through meds plus the help of a good Therapist & Psychiatrist I have never felt more sure & happy with myself. I am retireing this year & know I have to keep busy with positive & constructive things in my life to continue being happy..

Sadly our lives revolve around time and money which doesn't allow enough quality time for family,friends, neighbors and for finding ways to help save each other and for saving our planet. My point is that most people these days do suffer from anxiety,mental health,and depression because of the different kinds of pains we all must endure daily and because our world system no longer depends on each and every person working together as our only currency. I just finished things with someone going through anxiety, fear of failure, panic attacks and later mentioned bipolar. What made me connect with her was my anxiety, fear of failure, insecurity for saying the wrong thing or doing something that turns out embarrassing. I managed to turn my fear of failure into fear of not ceasing opportunities and having more regrets in my life. As a child, teen and early 20s i passed so many opportunities in life that i have those regrets. She turned out having bigger issues that turned into using me, lying, dragging me along knowing she wasn’t intending on things between us ever getting serious and never coming clean when she had her chances. She had drug issues back in her 20s which i believe were substituted for clubbing and alcohol consumption which she does to this day just about every Friday and Saturday. I later realized she uses her setbacks anxiety brings to make excuses for not… fill in the blank. She uses her friends, partying and high paced job to keep her from seeing what her life is really like, and she has a ton of friends always inviting her out. I’ve been able to turn my fear of failure and embarrassment to help me become more aggressive and welcome challenges. I hope for her two little ones she has, she will make changes for herself soon and give them more of her time.

    What is the greatest gift you have ever received?
    The Holy Bible says that you can KNOW you have eternal life with God in Heaven. Not based on your righteousness or good works, but because Jesus Christ paid for your sins on the cross and he has given you his righteousness if you will receive it.
    “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” - 1 John 5:12-13
    “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost” - Titus 3:5
    The Holy Bible says that whoever trusts in the shed blood of Jesus Christ has received forgiveness for their sins and they are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Your good works cannot save you. Your water baptism cannot save you. Only faith in Jesus Christ can save you.
    “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace…That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ. In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise” (Ephesians 1:7,12-13).
    “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
    The Holy Bible says, “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Because of this we all rightly deserve to go to Hell. However, God loves you and doesn’t want you to go to Hell. The Bible says “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him” (Romans 5:8-9). Therefore “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13) and live eternally with God in Heaven.
    The greatest gift that I have ever received is eternal life in Heaven (Romans 6:23) because I have received Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and I trust in him alone.
    “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” - John 1:12-13
    Jesus Christ, who is God, wants to save you and give you eternal life. Will you receive his gift?

    Nobody deserves anything beyond the immediate benefits from the hard work they put in. The majority of people that have ever existed on the earth have lived in anxiety and fear for their lives. Only recently have people had it so good that their lives lose meaning.
    How you feel is determined by you. That doesn’t mean therapy isn’t good, but not if you don’t work towards dealing with the perpetual anxiety and fear built into being a human and finding worth. Sadly, a lot of therapists are terrible and give excuses instead of help.
    There shouldn’t be stigma, and there are always outlying cases of depression based on major psychological issues, but the majority of people have lost the plot.

    You don't "overcome anxiety". You learn to live with it. No therapist, God, friend, or medication is going to save you. Trying to stop anxiety is like trying to run from your shadow. Stop running from it! The moment you stop running is the moment you come to understand your anxiety's insignificance to the greater things in your world. Stop trying to fix your anxiety, acknowledge it. It's just part of being a person with a creative mind and a heightened sense of awareness.

    Serious question here from a Gen X who is somehow immune to the anxiety thing: Is it a lack of coping skills that enables your feelings of anxiety? And if so, would you trace the lack of coping skills to the public school system? Participation trophies & telling you you're always special no matter what doesn't prepare a person for the cold hard reality of the world.

    • @animambc5647
      @animambc5647 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      There are many reasons to suffer from anxiety that are beyond coping skills, medical issues can cause anxiety as well. The vast population that goes with either undiagnosed or unknown issues can cause things like the public school system or court system to fail the people in helping internally. It is a cold world, with this I agree, and by you stating that you're special no matter what and are immune to "the anxiety thing", can also contribute to others having anxiety. You ask all these questions, trying to sound like you have some kind of curiosity, but expose that you lack empathy, which could be a sign of narcissisms. I don't like could, or what if, or questions that lack potency, ask the right questions. Cause this is a serious issue that many face, suicides happen to people who think they can't reach out because of the all powerful people like yourself, this can't be a bad thing for people to speak up. The cold hard reality of the world, can simply be just because we chose to be about self rather than being united. If helping is a sign of weakness, or a foolish thing, why feel the need to comment on this topic? and call it a serious question with no grounds besides how rough the world can be... I don't normally comment but this is pretty shallow. and deserves a screen shot. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” a quote from Edmund Burke.... Here is a solution, find out what is causing the problem, the core issues, then find ways to solve them.

    I don’t really have mental problems. But From what I’ve seen the people who says they have depression and anxiety and says they need help hurts people the most. For ex. This girl I tried to respect and help, seems like she needed to be needed by people, because you need to feel a spark, but then when it fades you need to find something new to find that spark again, that’s really a broken way of life. Because when are you going to tell yourself it’s gonna end? That’s where the saying comes from Hurt people hurt people.

    1 Thessalonians 5:4-23
    4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.
    5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.
    6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
    7 For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night.
    8 But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.
    9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
    10 Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.
    11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
    12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
    13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves.
    14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feeble minded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
    15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
    16 Rejoice evermore.
    17 Pray without ceasing.
    18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.
    19 Quench not the Spirit.
    20 Despise not prophesyings.
    21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
    22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
    23 And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Dam same but opposite. I moved out of my parents October 21. Then everything flipped upside down for me. I’ve been by myself getting thru it. My son is 18. He was a little down too, so he ended up going to stay up the street with my parents more. I have learned so much tho with this time and things came up I didn’t know were there. I have thought about moving back with my parents but my mom and I kind of butt heads for whatever reason. But I don’t react anymore. Something I learned not to do anymore. It is hard for parents to understand their kids I think when they really don’t know you well.

    My panic disorder drove me nuts for 20 years until I found out it was caused by inflammation in the brain. Many people who have depression and anxiety is because they have inflammation in their brain.

      what’d you end up doing to fix/help it?

    • @trimwix9944
      @trimwix9944 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@joshmontague3178 no cure. But a reduction in the attacks by eating bitter greens like turnip , mustard and dandelion greens. Lots of green lettuce . Salads with just vinegar and Olive oil and salt. Salt isn't bad like it's claimed to be. Avoiding sugar and carbs like crackers cookies and pasta. Sleep at least 8 hours is more important than anything more than your diet. exercise like 20 min jump rope or hour walks in the neighborhood or park. Take an Omega 3 supplement and a vitamin D supplement. Eat grass fed beef cheapest you can find. Eat salmon if you can afford it if not stick with the beef. Eat avocados if your able. Use real sweet cream butter to cook your greens in not round tub butter it's not really butter. Also relax by hearing soothing sounds. I use crickets in a screened box at night because it reminds me of happier times as a kid. Also most important thing is to remember that there's nothing wrong with you it's just the inflammation that's causing panic. I used to think there was something wrong with me and I had mental illness. Remember :
      sleep as much as it takes to feel rested
      exercise
      eat clean avoiding sugar cuz it's really inflammatory

      @@trimwix9944 also would you say it got worse or better over time? I could see it getting easier with more experience, but idk what it’s like long term. I’ve only been dealing with this for about 2 years and i’m in my early 20s, so i’m relatively pretty new to all this. I really hope and pray it gets easier or at least stays consistent and manageable.
