Into me you see, Saved as draft, Rainbow, Ghost, Love Me, Who Am I living for, By the Grace of God, Choose your battles, It takes two, Miss you more Katy. She's a genius that people just can't take seriously.
I also think 1. Legendary Lovers - It would’ve been a good follow up to Dark Horse and would establish the Prism era as a more majestic and mystical than pop. 2. I think the use of "open sesame" was absolutely beautiful for storytelling. The character in the song is a grown up girl physically but lyrics like "built a wall, a life of locks, only knew how to hide, floating aimlessly, camouflage etc" highly suggest that she's still a kid emotionally and mentally. Not really a huge Katy fan but I have to agree that PEACOCK IS A CLASSIC. Also NOT LIKE THE MOVIES is my favorite Katy song.
I think the use of "open sesame" was absolutely beautiful for storytelling. The character in the song is a grown up girl physically but lyrics like "built a wall, a life of locks, only knew how to hide, floating aimlessly, camouflage etc" highly suggest that she's still a kid emotionally and mentally. Beautiful when you think about it.
