Yes, this was the last song of the set apart from the Fields of Desolation + Enter The Machine outro. You're so right about making that extra effort. How the hell can she do that after already screaming for 90min straight? That is some olympic level stamina right there. The drummer too! 🤘
the ex vocal Angela Gossow was also great one her growl was also unique She is Now the bands Manager Tho

Thank you for this. I am a long time AE fan and could not get beyond the Angela to Alissa change over, but listening to you highlight Alissa's stage presence puts her in a different light for me, and I can appreciate her much more going forward.
A new AE album is coming out later this year. It's going to be exciting to see what Jeff and Alissa get to do there. Michael will do most of the writing obviously. Since AE is the only band that have managed to get death metal vocals to 70+M views on youtube, the pressure is on. 😅🤘💪

As much as i loved Angela in AE back in the day, i do actually Alissas for AE. Also liked her vocals in The Agonist. Honestly a win-win situation for me, i actually prefer Vickys vocals in Agonist and i prefer Alissas vocals in Arch Enemy, lol. Both bands got better for me with the vocalist changes. I do miss her cleans though, not much use of them in AE.

Thank you again! Alissa is first class performer and like you said Stage General. Just natural talent. I remember her saying in one interview that one of her influences is Bruce Dickinson and I see some similarity in those two on stage. At least stage presence is as massive! Good points you gave and I can totally agree. I've seen this whole show tens or even over hundred times and it just doesn't get boring. Can you put one more on your list? You might know the song, but there is great show again, bit different camera work and the bass is mixed up quite tastefully. Here you go:

Nice song-its their classic. You should check out their Handshake with Hell official video. Its one of the best metal songs this year. Alyssa sings both clean and growl here with shredding like all the time from guitars. Total madness. Take care dude.

Yeah, and I actually like the version of Nemesis from Wacken 2018 the best. Much better depth there and her growls have improved a lot.
Alissa White-Gluz is the greatest stage presence in music today! Bar none.

I almost want to request you review this song from their 2007 performance in Tokyo just to compare and contrast Angela and Alyssa. Angela is more of, to use a phrase you've used before, a STAGE GENERAL. If you're not up for that, "Blood on your hands" from that show is quite the opener.
