Good review, but wow... $200 though. I've seen similar kits for less than half that. Another option is to get the OM4 and it's still cheaper and more functional with the active tracking and crazy gimbal features. Then add a video light if you feel you need one.
Chris Duke Name the kits for less than half the price. Comparing the OM4 to this kit is not a fair comparison, they both have features the other doesn’t have . Depending on you use , they are both a groom option. Not everyone find gimbals great.
I hear you, but... When you break it down it’s actually not that expensive. The LED light itself is $90. The microphone is $80. These are comparable prices if you bought an Aputure LED ($90) or a Diety mic ($89). And then of course you get the tripod, the mount & cables and the cold shoe accessories. So overall would say it’s about right. It is new though so they’ll probably be a price break in the future!
