Oh okay yeah the creamy side looks brighter.... but when u go back and watch it Vianney do u notice that the original seemed to almost make your dark under eye become DARKER????

I picked up 2 of the travel sizes in 35n & 38n bc I wanted 1 that is my skin tone for natural days & 1 that is a little brighter! I enjoy reg shape tape but I usually need to mix it with a more hydrating concealer so I'm excited to try this! I do like the hydrating elf camo as well! Thanks for reviewing these side by side!

I personally thought the Ultra Creamy side looked better , maybe bc I liked the shade Medium in Ultra Creamy on you better, the OG looked a tad dark. I’m 41 yrs old so I’m all about the Creamy hydrating concealers, that’s why I’ve never tried Shape Tape bc everyone says its so drying. I do love the elf hydrating concealer and it did look really similar so thanks for saving me some money. 🙌🏼💕

@@loren9597 pretty sure she used Medium in both but the Ultra Creamy Medium shade is a bit lighter than the OG, which I think looks a bit better. :)

Fantastic review! I am in my 40s and do love shape tape. It can sometimes look a little dry under my eyes if I’m super tired or haven’t been looking after my skin properly but it’s definitely a go to for me. I also like using it to help just tidy my skin when I don’t want to wear makeup but need my skin to be a bit better looking. Blended out all over where needed is something it works well at. I was considering this but I don’t like setting my under eyes because it just makes me look 20 years older! So I don’t think I’ll like it to be honest, as it’s definitely going to need setting by the looks of it. Thanks for helping me decide! For now I’ll pass! I’ll probably still get it eventually but I’ll wait a while I think. 😊
Thank you for showing a comparison with the elf hydrating concealer! Their lightest warm said ‘fair warm’ is basically orange on me so I’ve bought the tarte ultra creamy one instead x

I can buy like 4 of my hydrating elf 16 hr camo concealer for the price of one shape tape .... but can’t deny the legend that is shape tape.... I’ve def bought my share, but might just stick with elf cause it’s been working for me !❤️❤️❤️

As someone with super dry undereyes, when I set a hydrating concealer I have to let it sit for a min and dry down a little before I set it to keep it from looking weird with powder. I cant use the original shape tape its too dry. My go to full coverage concealer is the it cosmetics bye bye undereye and If I set that right away it looks weird and kinda curdled. But if I put it on, and do lashes or something else and then set its perfect. So try that next time!

I’ve been waiting for this video!! Can’t wait to give this one a try, I plan on trying the Hydrating Elf concealer first tho because the Tarte is kinda pricey for me right now. The original Elf & Tarte concealers are drying on me and creases sooooo badly 😫
Same here, so I got the hydrating version of the ELF camO concealer and OMG!!! It’s the best!!! It still creases because I have creases under my eyes but it’s definitely a lot less noticeable! With the OG I looked way older due to how noticeable my creases were.

The new one makes your skin look very airbrushed and smooth. Lol This might be a bad idea, but I think that I would have to mix the creamy one with the shape tape for my blemishes though.
I think the creamy looks better, a tad brighter & more luminous. The eye with original looks slightly darker, particularly when you look down. However, you are seeing it way more up close & personal than we can possibly see on camera.

I have prominent wrinkle/folds under my eyes and I find it tricky bc I need some powder, but I also have mature skin. So I am forever chasing the happy medium. I may give this one a try with the Ulta sale and see if I like it.

Tbh I have 5-6 other good concealers 3 tarte and one too faced born this way, 1 estee lauder and another lancome and guess what I always reach for fit me. Idk why and what's going on but fit me is great!

I am a die hard shape tape fan, only concealer to cover my dark circles. I was excited about the new one and immediately bought it. For me, it's more sheer than the og, meaning I need more product which means it creases a lot. I was disappointed 🙁 and will be returning it for the original

It looks very dewy but agree so does the elf hydrating Concealer.i have tried the regular one and like it but the price is too high for me. I also did a review for you earlier this week.

Have you ever thought of blending the two concealers by tarte? I wonder if it mixes well to creat a more satin finish...
I recently bought the creamy one to test out. The only thing is I hope it’s better then the elf one...the elf one tends to crumble when I use my fingers to apply and I personally don’t think it is that hydrating
Which concealer do you recommend for oily skin & texture? I prefer concealers that are not hydrating. I currently use the too faced multi-sculpt concealer and it emphasizes my texture
@@yazminnyoung2948 I prefer matte products also so I can control where I want my highlight. I would say use the regular tarte shape tape, but I have also come around to the elf one of you want a cheaper option.
Also the makeup forever HD concealer is really amazing as well!
I have been using the elf one (with the white cap) a bit more. Especially for just my everyday over spf. On its own it actually is quite good and reminds me more the regular tarte shape tape.
I also recommend you having two different colors of concealers. One to brighten if you are using it under your eyes, and another to spot conceal. You want the one you are putting on your face to be the same color as your skin.
I also thought that your right eye looked better! There was definitely a difference

I'd already ordered the new creamy concealer (it hasn't arrived yet), since I never liked the original cuz it was too drying for me, I was sooo excited when they came out with the ultra creamy, but when you said the e.l.f hydrating camo concealer is very similar to the Tarte one 😳 I was so bummed! I didn't like the e.l.f concealer!!! 😭 and then to make matters worse, I didn't know the Tarte one was going to be on sale during Ulta's 21 days of beauty 😣 at least I could've saved some $$ 🤦(sigh)... anyways, thnx for the review... hugzzz ❤️

I was a little irritated that you find the original Shape Tape side better, in my opinion the Ultra Creamy side looks much better and seems to provide more coverage
I can tell you first hand the elf hydrating camo concealer is NOT waterproof! So if you’re a crier, watery eyes, etc, the elf is not going to hold up. Do I still love it, yes. But warning
