August of 1999 was the very first time I ever flew in any jumbo jet...it was a Canadian Airlines Boeing 767-300ER at Toronto Pearson International Airport, bound for Calgary and Vancouver, and at Vancouver International Airport bound for Toronto...both were red-eye flights! I've never flown in a jumbo jet since then!
Beautiful shots at the end. Love this airline. Both of my parents worked for it. My dad as a captain, check pilot and training pilot and my mom as a flight attendant until they merged with Air Canada. We lost a fantastic airline that day. Everyone who worked at Canadian felt it too. A shame they were forced out. Love seeing these videos. Very nostalgic. Those were the good old days.
I made a trip in 1988 and same trip again in1990 with Canadian Airlines. B 737 + B 767 + Beachcraft or Beachking "Time Air" (canadian partner). Montréal to Vancouver and coming back. Very nice company, good service, nice crews. I regret that company.

If you flew on the 737, my dad may have flown you 😊

I flew on this airline last summer. Great service!
Umm, are you feeling ok? This airline is gone.
Bankrupt. POOF. No more.
Ah no. I flew on canada airlines, or canadian air last November from St Louis to Chicago.
I think you mean air canada but cool. How was it?
Also, air canada is finally going to order their very own 737's. The ones they used to operate came from mergers. Just a fun fact.
