A great day after not run during Covid. A hiking couple defied the 'Road Closed' sign and started to walk up the lane just as an NSU Quickly was about to do a run. When accosted by spectators they replied "Don't worry. We'll be at the top before he gets there".
@@TheClassicMotorcycleChannel I saw a video & it seems all the parts are still available in Europe & the frames are made from Swedish steel so the frames are mint after several decades still.Don't they sound magnificent 👍👌.
I don't know which I love more, the old guys or their bikes. When we have been replaced by the people from Africa, Asia and the Middle East they will have great fun destroying these symbols of European ingenuity and imperialism.
All right, I'm watching from the United States.......... what are the rules here? What "bikes" qualify? Would a 1981 Honda CM400A qualify? This is just for fun, right? Scooters and motorcycles? Scratching my head.
Hi, the cones denote a “box” that you have to stop in, put a least one foot down and then do a hill start to the finish line, which is the length of cable that runs across the road, then the whole run is timed (the cable sends a signal back to the start line and is automatically logged)

you have to remember - once the Japs hit our shores - the reg plate was all these bikes were worth. Looking back is easy but many ppl rode bikes bc motoring was out of their price range..
Life is all about emotions and sensations. This is as pure emotion for the lovers of motorcycles in general. Thanks
Beautiful machines and beautiful nature around. Nice video, thanks.

What a show! Thanks for this video 🤩👍
For me the sound of the AJS and Matchless bikes was a walk down memory lane.
A lot of antiques there!

Marvelous machinery. Love how most of them take this as a Sunday ride but a few race like bats out of Hell.
Very much enjoyed the day - already looking forward to next year!
Great video as always. Thanks for sharing

Great event !
I saw a Nimbus in there the bike with the Austin 4 cylinder car engine that you can still get parts for from Holland, Denmark.
Yep, that's right, there was our friend Bo there on his 1947 Nimbus Sport

Impressive stuff, especially given the age and power output of some of the earlier bikes !..
Great fun.
Very cool.
lo verdaderos biker 💪
very cool !
Great report, hard to tell if the bike or rider is older!
Старички, но молоды душой. Молодцы.
I wonder if after they round the corner there isn't a huge pile of scrap?
I can’t tell which are older… the bikes or the riders. 😜

1:15 I bet the G Forces nearly ripped his face off 😂
Very Neat badge at 3:39.. (should I recognise the rider?)
How do you catogarise a vintage and a classic bike ? What are the manufactured years from 2023 ? Thanks.
What’s the cut off age for bikes?
Up to 24 out of 29 minutes you can only see the start of the bike>; when ... some stretch of the route, perhaps challenging?

When Vespas are the fastest bikes on the hill 😂
Is that the end of the climb we’re the cones are?
Yep

I don't think some of those bikes made it all the way to the top...

A great shame to see how many Reg Numbers have been robed off of the bikes should be Number stays with the bike or loose tax and MOT free
