Good vid team. You've come to the same conclusion re wood size that Joe in ohio, the Allen family in the north east and many others have. Small top quality splits fetch a premium price. Good on ya! Cheers from HB NZ
Hi Rachel and Heath. Yeah that Yakta is a beast. Hopefully Rachel won't bury you in firewood. The sound quality is very perceptible. Thanks and be safe.
Pretty crazy towing that stuff around with that mower! Crazy stuff guys! Keep up the good work. I have never messed with beech but know you all have a bunch of it up your direction!
hi there never had beech , looks nice . ps the Lickity log splitter came with auto cycle in 1958 . lol / see you at backwards 40 tonight .great job .best to all john
Interesting video, two comments before you started splitting I noticed that the rod was fully extended, I hope this is not the way you store it, when finished if you set the ram back inside the cylinder it will save the ram rod, stored inside will stop the rod from pitting, second I dislike when you're splitting you engage the valve and turn your back to the machine, just imagine a hand anything caught between the pusher plate and wedge hydraulics does not stop, please be careful and safe. Interesting video and thanks for sharing.
Thanks! These are the Comica Boom Pro mics. So far I really like them! We bought the DJI Mic2 and weren’t impressed, then one completely died a few months old.
Just for kicks, try running the gas engine on the splitter at a reduced RPM. The RPM affects the flow but not the pressure. I run mine about half throttle, saves a bunch on fuel and we still get our workload done. I don't know how this will work with other splitters but it works for me. Our splitter is a double acting and we struggle to keep up with it even at half throttle.
There is some distortion in the audio. Like its ether peaking, or is affected by the engine sound. Possibly a mic fuzzy and/or gain power adjustment, would help, if it has one. . ive been doing sound for a number of organizations for 20 something years, other people may not detect it. 0.01c
The mics are way better I almost stopped watching you. I felt like you were just screaming all the time in the past! 👍👍What is the new brand and model out of curiosity?

Beech is good stuff! Nice job you guys! - Tim
Thanks! We love beech, wish we had more of it.
Good splitting 👍 I love beechwood; the smell, how it splits, and the BTUs
It’s awesome wood! I wish I had more of it.
Hi Rachel and Heath. Yeah that Yakta is a beast. Hopefully Rachel won't bury you in firewood. The sound quality is very perceptible. Thanks and be safe.
Thank you Stephen! The Yakta is a beast just like the All Wood and Rachel!!
The Allwood Splitters are really quality built machines that are made to last. They have some really awesome things coming up!!
Yes they are and yes they do! Love ours!
Own a Allwood Locust splitter, FANTASTIC...
I am staying tuned Russ!

Good evening folks. Just tuning in.
Thanks Kenny!
Hello guys, indeed these mowers are built heavy nowadays. We use the Kabota 1100 to pull the boat around and trailer stuff. Good teamwork guys.👍🇺🇸
Thanks guys!

Thanks John, I think you’ll like our next video. We made a mess!
Great tools. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Thanks Noel!
I am super happy with my DJI Mics. Audio is always something that you are chasing!
We picked up the DJI mic 2’s. Never sounded great for us and one of them died in like 2 months. Trying the Comica Boom Pro now.
Sounds good
Thanks.
sounds good
Thanks.
Another great day at splitting Rachel with the help from Heath 😮😊❤
Thanks Todd!
Rachel I guess this is where Heath goes and gets an ultra !!!! For doing resplits. Just teasing
Brian, I’d love to. I love the Ultra! Fast and smooth!

Thanks Ben, I extend the ram for towing to lessen younger weight but store it fully retracted.
You guys work really well together. What are your new mics? I’m looking to change mine.
Thanks! These are the Comica Boom Pro mics. So far I really like them! We bought the DJI Mic2 and weren’t impressed, then one completely died a few months old.

Thanks, we rarely run it at full throttle. This is between half and 3/4.
Good resplit ting
Thanks Jason. I still need to get you a shirt for your boy! I forget a lot.
@ no problem. 😉. He enjoyed being in the video
Hoping to go see Bobby to pick up box wedge in a month or so. I believe he has some new ideas in the works.
Did you see his latest box wedge video?
@ I did. Crushing it!
I like your videos !
You change stuff up !!
Im thinking vyou wouldn't have been able to keep up with Rachelle if she had Auto Cycle !!!!😊
Thanks Ken, we are looking in to upgrading to full auto cycle. Then she’ll burry me in wood!
Can hear you loud and clear. Good upgrade on the mics!!
Thanks Doug.
When your selling wood you do as the customer asks you to do
Yes you do! They love it.
Heath you are lucky to have a wonderful wife like Rachel
Thanks John, I agree!
Looks like your next major purchase needs to be a building to store all your equipment!
We definitely need a pole barn!
🎉
Beech makes good firewood
We really like it!
I just got 3 semi loads 🎉all beach no dirt
Everyone I sold some to has loved it!
Man that thing could push sh*t through a tin horn .
It’s a beast!
How much stuff do need just to split firewood lol
All of it lol.

We had noise reduction on testing it. I bet that’s what you detected.
I'd like to have a box wedge on it.
That would be nice!
Tell. Rachel she is good looking
Yes she is!
Help and get one of your hats
We have a few hats left on our website.

Need auto-return on the splitter...slows her down waiting...
Definitely, we are working on a plan to add auto cycle!
The mics are way better I almost stopped watching you. I felt like you were just screaming all the time in the past! 👍👍What is the new brand and model out of curiosity?
We’ve been battling audio issues for a while. Tried the new DJI mic 2 and they were worse. These are the Comica Boom Pro
To split into quarters load in trailer to re-split to stack is more then a waste of time ( and time is money in wood business )
We loaded the trailer straight off our firewood processor, fast and easy, just not the size we wanted.
