I'm still waiting on delivery of the game, from KS Journey's End (and Ultimate Edition). Hope to have it in December.

I really should give this a go. It has been sat on the shelf for a couple of years. Have tried to play it once but it seemed a lot of effort - more than I was willing to put in at the time.

Definitely read the book, the events in the game will make a lot more sense and you will feel a greater sense of immersion. The book is free, you can find it online.

Two things I didn't like about the game. Firstly it overstays its welcome, feels longer than it should. I wish there was an official way for a shorter game setup. Secondly, I wish they had two different types of decks instead of dividing the adventure cards in to two seperate piles. Many games have done this right like robinson Crusoe. It would thematically make more sense and feel more unique with decisions.
