Listening to Integrated Separate System. June 13, 2024 in the Hallway Space.

George Taylor of Entracte Audio came to my workshop and I made him listen to one of my integrated separate system set up. There are three configurations between preamp and power amp. The preamp is a prototype built inside a Cookie Can connect with a Candy Can. Power amp is the NSL prototype.
Config 1: Normal set up. Each preamp and power amp has their own ac power cord.
Config 2: Preamp and power amp both use their ac power cord to draw power from the wall. A DC power cord to connect the preamp DC power supply to the power amp DC power supply.
Config 3: Only power amp connect to the wall to draw ac power. Preamp with no ac power cord. The link between the preamp DC power supply and power amp DC power supply remain connect. Therefore, the preamp is drawing power from the power amp.
