She had a big boomin' voice... no microphone needed! This brings back so many Wonderful Memories! My son's drama club did this in his junior year. He had a wonderful ride. "There's no business like show business!" I miss it! Thank you for sharing! 💖
It's an all too rare occasion in Merman's career during the sixties that we get to see her do a dance number. And here she is, giving a few simple steps the star treatment during ANYTHING YOU CAN DO. I wonder if two of the guys are Lee Roy Reams and maybe Harvey Evans (RIP)?
I'll look for it, but I think Judy and Ethel did a duet of the above classic. Nothing against Betty Hutton and Louis Calhern, but the the movie version of "Annie Get Your Gun" remains in the shadow of what might have been with Garland and Frank Morgan.
@@howardlevin2753 I know Judy, Barbra Streisand, and Ethel Merman sung it together on Judy's CBS-TV show in 1963. Ethel popped in during the taping of Judy's show from across another studio where Ethel was taping "The Red Skelton Hour".

She started in show business in the 1920's...when audio technology was in its infancy.
@@WPM_in_ATL 1920's back then to 1966 here. Still looks and sounds incredible! William was my father's name. 😊 Thank you for sharing! 💖
She could really belt out a tune. Look what we have to endure now in today’s popular music !
Love Aunt Merm’s frock - just stunning !!!!
🙏 GREAT+ ❤
2:16 the dancers left to right are Lee Roy Reams, Stan Mazin, Bill Guske, and Bud Vest

Definitely a young Lee Roy Reams
That definitely looks like Lee Roy on Ethel’s left at the end of Anything You Can Do.

@@DolphinGamez12 Thank you!
only one Merman.....the quintessential....Broadway performer.....
All of her young years seeing 1920s vaudeville at the Palace helped form her bold style.
Yes she can !
On with the show!
Nice medley, she had so many Broadway signature songs.
Fifth comment I love Ethel merman keep videos of her coming
YES FINALLY
A very young Lee Roy Reams backing up the ‘Merm’!
Well Annie, it looks like you got your gun!
And all I wanted was Topo Gigio; OMG! How slow I am!
No AutoTune. No clown make-up. Training .
When I listen to this I can forgive her for that horrible disco album!
Lee Roy Reems is one of the guys
Shes No Judy Garland!!!!
Damn right. She's Ethel Merman.

Hil frickin larious 😂😂
Oh my God, you should quit your day job at the mental institution and become a stand-up comic. You are hilarious!
@@chrisn7259 Is that the best you can do?
Never heard anyone say this ever. And you're kinda missing the point of the show and its story.
Hey Bill, change your name to "Pill".
The one and only!
