Technically Atlantic Canada is Eastern Canada. I think the only reason it is not called eastern is because we follow so much from the United States.

They shouldn’t consider Ontario part of the East Coast when it’s not even close to the coast and cities below Ontario in the US are considered central like the ones in Ohio, Michigan, etc. I tell people I’m from Eastern Canada (can’t get more Eastern than the Maritimes) and they almost always say “oh, so from Toronto/Ontario?” Boils my blood every time. I can understand Quebec being considered East, it’s right above. New England in America. But that distinction should end at the Quebec border or Ottawa.

I also hate when people say Toronto or cities in Ontario are “East Coast.” They’re not even close to the coast. While some American cities below Ontario are considered central. Montreal is close to Vermont and Quebec City I can give a pass as it’s close to New Brunswick, even though those two cities aren’t coastal either.

Canadians need to be educated more to make the distinction. I tell people I’m from East coast Canada and they’re like “oh so Ontario/Toronto?” And then I tell them Atlantic Canada, and then they’ll still try to guess something like Quebec. It’s like Canadians completely forget the mere existence of the Maritime provinces.

I live in Toronto, and our DVP highway flooded twice back to back it felt like, and it's so ridiculous! This is a COMPLETELY AVOIDABLE event guys!! THIS is what the government is literally for! The river needs to be stopped from being allowed to flood the highway on days of crazy rain, because as we know the flood events will only continue. Time to take a real action to fix it not just make frowny faces and get concerned about the people whose vehicles were lost. Do something!

It is 100% natural. We are in 2024. We have access to live weather radar maps of the entire planet 24h/24 for FREE on the internet, yet you don't even seem to be aware that this exists 🤦
On these maps, you can see where, how and when such storms form, and it clearly isn't "geoengineering".
The Atlantic ocean is abnormally warm this summer, which creates more evaporation, and thus more large storms. This storm we had in Québec today was a mix between the tropical storm Debby coming from the Gulf of Mexico and another depression coming from the Great Lakes.

Thanks to the familiar meterorlogist weather patterns and the tremendous affect of our global climate temperature as high as 60 degrees Celsius has risen above the equator adding to the dismay of Canadian forest fires, Ice Land volcanic eruption, Portugal volcanic eruptions, India, China and than United States adding the index heat factor, sorry is not the word associated to the natural bizarre phenom in the year 2024 thusly the ramification felt below the equator is the remnant of heavy downpour of rainfall, melting of the ice caps, flooding southern regions from Florida, circulating every 72 hours felt all towards Asia peninsula,

I have a couple hurricane-related questions to ask in case if anyone happens to know the answers to them since I was just wondering myself since I just thought of asking:
    1. I know hurricane season usually lasts between June and November, but how come it always seems like August and September are the most active times for hurricanes though, especially September? It always seems like we get more hurricanes and storms around September more for some reason than any other month during hurricane season.
    2. Also, I don't know if it's just me or what, but how come it also seems like a lot of these storms and hurricanes with the female names seem to be stronger than the male storms for some reason? It always seems like the female storms seem to be the strongest though than the male storms.
I just thought of asking these questions though since I was only just wondering myself.

I have some questions here to ask in case if anyone would happen to possibly know the answers to them even though this might seem off-topic and all, but I was just wondering anyway:
    1. My e-mail account hasn't been hacked or anything, but a while back I noticed that my e-mail account/address has started receiving various spam e-mails and this has been an ongoing problem for me since this has been happening almost every day for the past several months. What exactly causes this to happen?
    2. I might have also accidentally responded to a spam e-mail or two from before even though I didn't mean to do so, and it seems like ever since then, my e-mail account has just been receiving even more spam mail that way. What exactly causes that to happen too and why?
    3. If you open and/or interact with spam e-mails in any way, how exactly do the scammers themselves know if you responded to their e-mails like that?
    4. Is there also some possible way to completely stop the spam mail altogether or not? I've been reporting the e-mails, deleting them, blocking them, and even blocking the e-mail addresses and domains where the e-mails have been coming from, but it seems like no matter what I've been trying to do, nothing seems to be stopping it so far and I sometimes even receive some spam e-mails somehow from certain senders even though I already have their e-mail addresses blocked although they shouldn't be going through to me if I already have them blocked.
I just thought of asking these questions though in case if anyone knows the answers to them and I know this is kind of off-topic and all, but this is just something that I've been having to deal with now for quite some time and it's just really aggravating too although I wish it would somehow stop. I just want to know why and how this sort of thing happens, and also if there's a way to possibly stop it somehow.
