    Thank you so much. I am trading in my L3400 and was looking at the L4701 and came across your video. I'm convinced that the Grand L4060 is the way to go.

    Hello Jordan,
    Great video of your tractor. We have the R14 tires on our B2601, and have the same issue with our front tires wearing faster than the rear.
    All the best,
    Ben

    Jordan that has been a great tractor for you I enjoyed the work you have done with it I remember when we were using the Ford 8n and we put the front tires on the John deer and this was a big step up for you glad this tractor has worked out for you.

    Great breakdown of the grand L LE. Have my eye on a 3560 LE. Seems quite capable by what you've said and shown. Thanks!

      I have a L3540 open station (2008 previous serie to the L60) with 3000 hours on it and this thing is a beast. No mechanical problems yet. I greatly appreciate the extra features like HST+, auto throttle and stall guard.
      If you take care of your machine properly, it will serve you for many years trouble free.

    Damn good investment that new one year old tractor. 👌
    Just wear a good face mask for grass cutting Jordan, cheaper then a Cab.
    Can't believe that tractor has seatbelts, with all the traffic in the paddock, or is it a road thing?
    Technology tractor, does it make coffee as well Jordan.😁

    • @HumbleAcres
      @HumbleAcres  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The seatbelt is for if the ROPS are up then you should wear the it and the tractor won't crush you. At least thats the hope.

    Very good information. I got my l4060 about same time as you but I got the cab. I got hit my 50 hour so my son in law is changing oil and 2 hydraulic filters. I just looked at my screen after watching this video and it looks like mine is at 86% for I believe you called
    Re-gen I remember salesman telling me something about this. Is there anything I have to do when it hits a 100% I am a 71 year old dummy. Do you have a video that shows what to do if so what is the name of video. I am just not a Tech guy and dont understand all this stuff. Other than that I have not had any issues yet with mine

      I go over the regen in this video th-cam.com/video/m0q856l5354/w-d-xo.html
      It's very simple when it gets to 100% it will ether start the regen or say to raise the throttle. Its all in the video. Thanks for watching!

    Your little triangle thing. It's called a slow-moving vehicle sign.... Not legal to be on the road without it. if you have officers that don't care you're good

    The lights you took off do make sense them are the flashers the other lights are just running lights.. I'm assuming first tractor?? You pointed it a part earlier in the video didn't know what it was that was your hydraulic pump that was leaking... Do yourself a favor clean the air cleaner every 10 hours of fieldwork.. don't go by that little Gage.. it's called preventive maintenance

    For the type of stuff you like to do and the stuff you run over all the time.. do yourself a favor get the R4s. The R14 you'will shred them apart...R4s industrial tire.. design for that kind of stuff.... And I have no problem with mine in the winter

    I had quite an article written about the A which was in your section a year ago. It was quite lengthy, explaining a feature on your A that you probably never were told of since farmers don't use the two row cultivator any more. I ran out of time on that episode and the tablet shut off to the next story. Ill have to write you on an email or something with more time.I thought, maybe some of the scrap iron was for that attachment.

      @@HumbleAcres I'll go and re write it, it was about the function of the "plate" bolted onto the very front of the tractor. Unless you already know. I remember it well.

      I bet anyone who has had an A or B or G used it, it wasn't as popular after the diesels like the 4010 came out. I'll leave it as a mystery, maybe you will be enticed.

    front tires wear because you have a lot of weight at the front, get heavy attachement for the rear. Helps with stability - safety and also you risk problems with front axle... , please learn from my mistake...

    • @HumbleAcres
      @HumbleAcres  ปีที่แล้ว

      I have the rear tires filled which helps a lot with that.

    • @bruushbuster50
      @bruushbuster50 ปีที่แล้ว

      I also use my grapple and loader a lot. I also have my tires filled but to even out the weight distribution I have a ballast box or my box blade attached at all times to take the weight off the front axle. I also added wheel spacers to make the tractor more stable and more clearance for putting chains on in the winter for snow removal.

    man auto throttle is the reason I want a grand L.
    I think you would have been happier with a L4701 or a MX series that lacks all the "extra" functions of the Grand L.

    • @FletchDoesIt
      @FletchDoesIt ปีที่แล้ว

      FWIW, he said about $40K and the 60 like $60K... about $1K per horsepower he said... LoL nevremind... that info was from another vid I watched today and it was for a cabbed tractor, so most likely quite a bit less as this one is not cabbed. Cheers. 🍻
