  • A successful ERP implementation is often determined before it ever begins. Negotiating effective contracts with your ERP vendor and systems integrator is an important first step to a successful ERP implementation.
This video covers the things you should be aware of when creating your ERP Request For Proposal (RFP), negotiating your ERP vendor contracts, and establishing your statement of work (SOW) with providers. This panel discussion includes Marcus Harris, a software attorney, along with Daryl Crockett, a data migration specialist. The three of us discuss the best practices you need to know when creating an ERP RFP, contract, and SOW.

It's great to connect with industry experts and leverage their expertise and perspectives! Very insightful and eye opening. It definitely inspired me to think deeper about our contract management and data conversion strategy. Kudos to the two experts, and thanks Eric for putting together this awesome video!

Hi Eric, first I want to thank you for your time and effort to make these videos. They are valuable insight to business IT industry that I am involved in. Secondly, I appreciate your honesty. It is not a waste of my time to watch these videos as you speak the same business and IT language as I do. I like that you are willing to reach out and at the same time field questions. You get five stars for effort and content. There are some videos where the mic was capturing the echoes and the volume was not high enough to hear but the content itself is fantastic. I am a senior business analyst and I had the opportunity to work for a leading footwear company where I was involved with a large scale project to go from Oracle to SAP. And the pain points mentioned in all your videos is something I have seen and experienced in my career. I recently had a career transformation from a retail business to software business where the ERP software is slightly different but the overall business process is common. Thank you once again and am looking forward to new videos from you.
