When she was a kid, she was told "you can go out once you grow up". When she grew up, she was told "you can go out once you are married" When she got married, she was told "Have kids" When she had kids, she was told to look after them... When she is old, they said "abhi koi umr hain ghoomne ki?" (Translation: "Is this the age to go out and enjoy?")
I remember the time when my mother came to stay with me for her treatment and then refused to go back home. I didn't know what to do so I just told her to stay with me as long as you want. She beamed like a baby. And I made sure my father realise his mistake and not take my mother for granted ever again. He is not a bad guy it's just there are times when we start to forget people's presence and stop giving them respect. It's only us who can bring change in our lives.
You are correct. The problem with people in India is that they don't speak up. If someone's behaviour is not up to your expectation you must at least let him or her know that. Perhaps that person will change. If not, then you can take the drastic step of separation or divorce.
Rukhshana Rabadi but this short film highlights that it is NOT about speaking up. The mother voices her protests frequently throughout the film. All of her feelings and thoughts are just dismissed because Indian culture views women’s emotions as annoying/dramatic or non important...I saw this firsthand with my own mother
@@zxty34 Yes, she opens up to her daughter but not to her husband. If from day one she would have spoken to her husband and if he was a reasonable person he would have understood that she also is an individual and sometimes she would also like to do things as per her own wishes.
Can I answer because since her mother had tried to live a fake ideal life forgetting her ambitions and aspirations that's why she feels that her mother is overreacting on her father unknowing that her mother's adjustment and compromise is the reason why her father looks loving just because he got victory in fulfilling whatever he wants. THAT IS THE REASON IT LOOKED SO UNNATURAL AND UNACCEPTABLE FOR THE DAUGHTER WHEN AT LAST SHE SAW HER MOTHER LIVING HER LIFE
For her entire life, the daughter has seen her mother live her life for others. The mother has sacrificed her desires and wants and eventually even her identity. But the daughter has no clue who her mother was. Hence she cannot empathize. She does understand that nobody is perfect, but what she doesn't understand or even believe that relationships can be perfect with mutual give and take, respect, and understanding.
She's not senseless. She was being just a daughter then. It was unexpected but then she observed how her father behaved. She tried to understand her on a human level, taking her mother off the pedestal of being a parent.
The artist who played the mother, she was so convincing!! She makes us feel her emotional trauma so well, kudos to her. It is fine to stop and change when you can't take it. Life cannot be a compromise. It is ok to take a step towards your own happiness however selfish it might be.
Seema Pahwa was affectionately known as the character 'Badki' (elder sister) in India's most successful family drama titled 'Hum Log' which used to be aired on Doordarshan in the 80s. These are veteran stage artists which have unfortunately been ignored and downright neglected by the so called Hindi film industry.
Such a beautiful way to express an Indian housewives pain. Can totally relate to the suffocation she feels. It looks like everything is fine ...... But it never is.

@harjotkaur6352 well said. It is the patriarchal setup everyone takes for granted. Different sets of rules for men and women. Elastic jitna khinchtha hai uthna hee chalega. Baad mein rebound tho hoga hee.
It made me feel really happy too, even though as a single girl child my parents especially my father always gave me freedom in every respect, but with some basic minimum boundaries. . The same goes to an extent with my in-laws. . I’m really grateful to God that I’m among the less than 10% of women in India who’ve been gifted with an understanding and supportive husband. . But the sad reality is that the remaining 90% of women in India don’t get the respect that they deserve. . And for all those with insecurities about Feminism, for your kind information, feminism means equality. In this movie, Feminism is NOT that the man should not smoke, Feminism means that if a man can smoke then a woman also should not be judged for her smoking. At the same time if you judge the woman for smoking then judge the man too - EQUALITY in all aspects. This is real Feminism. All in all, a simple but really good movie, I hope this is what Bollywood will be about for the years to come - SUBSTANCE. 👌👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The is such a beautiful series which shows the little things which every typical housewives or even working wives go through... Did anyone noticed that when they reached home after travelling the husband asked to make tea stating that he is tired without thinking that even the wife has also travelled and she needs rest too. Made me so happy! A simple yet powerful depiction of our moms. They have lost themselves in the midst of giving wings to their families. Imagine the dilemma of raising a strong independent daughter yet being so frustratingly dependent! Kuddos to the team and the writer, actors for portraying such deep and real characters!
Loved every emotion portrayed in this film. Its 100 percent real. The inability of the mom to carry on in a selfish marriage..... the initial disbelief and denial by the daughter and the final realization. This is the true portrayal of the women in this country. Congratulations to the maker !
There are many more issues of a married women but put down in front of other people..only the path they follow is right..& Also nod their heads in favor of the men...
"I can't live like this, I can't live with your father." It takes a lot to say...... When they say it, They mean it. Believe them. It's same for Parents & Children both.
Most women live someone's life . When I said I can't women in my house says all men are same we too suffer so much are you the only one . You just can't live like that 😕
@Praveen this is all your assumption. How can you assume that I haven't started it from my house? How is my comment outrageous? I never said anything about women mistreating men. You are saying that. There is inequality among both the genders but it is women who suffer the most.
The daughter being oblivious to her mother's feelings and pain shook me from within. Her mother was crying but she didn't even bother to hug her once. I thought atleast the daughter would understand. Height of insensitivity.
You reap what you sow. Parents most of the time are tyranic, selfish, demanding, belittling...etc and the Day they aged up they ask fot attention and kindness. But who did’nt grow up well treated can t treat others well , even if it’s his parents. There is à proverb in arabic said: who did not had something can’t give it.
I don’t think the daughter was oblivious. I think she couldn’t process it at that moment because her mother had always put on the facade that “everything was fine.” She remembered and thought about her mother’s words and emotions and it dawned on her the reality. That is why she stood up to her father and went to support her mother. She was looking at her mother with different eyes at the end…seeing her mother as her own entity and not just the mother “she had always known.”
It breaks my heart 💔 seeing her crying... It takes a lot to say "I can't live like this" at this stage of life.. not even her own daughter couldn't understand the pain... every person deserve their own happiness..

Very apt. All the things she brought in the trip, most of them were not for her use - but she had an earful for the same. She too was tired from the trip, but she had to make tea. This was supposed to be her vacation, but husband tagged along. Reason he gave is she can't take care of herself, real reason is he can't even make tea, let alone spending the whole vacation by himself. She didn't want to go to relative's place, but had to. She didn't want to stay back for dinner, but had to. Small insults so many times during the day, all in the name of jokes and teasing. Never caring about her happiness, be it shopping or boating or anything...This is common woman's life. Her sacrifices go unnoticed. Her happiness is not even considered. Everything is about what husband and family wants.

What a gift on mother's day Brilliant! One sence is really heart touching when she realised that her daughter is also not understand what she feels and again she cried after her daughter go back to room. It is very hard for her to kills her desire everyday and oftenly those things are invisible for her husband and daughter which make her life suffocating after having normal life like her daughter mentioned in one sence. And the last sence is epic because the protay of river, boat and self paddling describe her daily life struggle . Wonderful!

Funny how a seemingly "progressive" daughter had such a small minded argument to give for her clearly depressed mother. Maybe it was the first time she saw the truth of their relationship and feared the thought of their separation, doesn't matter if daughter or son, thought of your parents separation is dreadful in its own right, I guess this is what it means when they say "jab bade ho jaoge tab samjoge".
Neither daughter nor father understand her, papa think I'm man , I smoke cigarettes and I know everything, daughter think I'm fit and fine, my perfect personal life, when children are small, mom I want this I want that, when they mature, they don't even mean to their parents, because of their personal life, husband ji until when they get married, after married they think their wife doing nothing only house work, wife is nothing and consider them as maid. This is reality, mom feels depends on husband and children for her life, she think whatever way husband treat her, she can't say anything, because she is women, where she go?, But sorry my mother doesn't depend on neither me/ my brother or my father. She is self depend. And I praised her, I'm proud son of you mummy. Thanks god ( Whole short movie, show that Mom has her own interest, freedom, but noone care) this is very strong message to society about women
They are not dependent at all. They are self sufficient. But we are dominating them. Sad reality of our society. Happy to hear that your mom is doing well. Wish her a very happy mother's day. 🙂🌹
This line “ whose life doesn’t have problems” . It overshadows what one feels from inside. when one is not happy in certain situation it means he or she is not happy period
I can relate with the story. My mum cried and suffered for 22 years of her married life. And also her mother was not a good one so she didn't find happiness before marriage too. But now she is about 43 and left home . She is happy and doing her own job. I don't know how many years I have to wait to meet her . Don't if I'll be able or not. But I'm glad that she will live her life being happy and without any restrictions 🤞
My mom's story is also something like that , but she's independent in some ways , she have her job, she make decisions..... But sometimes father just ends up saying something which hurts mom alot ..... And she can't even say that on his face .
Same in my family. Though they are both teachers. I am myself doing Ph.D. but still, this something is there. and the worst thing is my mother now doesn't even know what she likes, what she wants.
In our society every person has to be taught to speak for their value, their respect who seems to crushing it under their foot.. no matter how he matters to u.. same way u have to give respect and values to others for the way they are.. and this education comes from family parents..
Same here...I don't know why even after being independent have to live like this..it's heart breaking and a bitter truth..as a children me and my sister feel helpless.
This short film shows the reality of many families.. I also saw how my mom is adjusting even after been working... She has to do double a work than my father and have no time to spend some time alone or for a trip.... Hope that one day we i.e me and my brother would able to give her all the happiness and took her to all her favorite places 🤗🤗
Wow!! This is the truth of society today. This lady is so courageous. Not many can step out of their shells. I wish my mom can gather this courage. I so much want her to be happy, do things she like, explore the world. She keep saying what will I do at this age. Who will cook, clean if I go out. Who will look after your dad and house. This short film teared me up.
Subhadra Khetawat Agree .... but don’t know why partner of those woman can’t understand this thing..... I feel it’s our society which grow woman and man like this and then expect woman to be always submissive and accommodative in each and everything..... and our culture calls women who fits into this frame as Pativrata and those who don’t as Charitrhin ...... That’s what we called patriarchal culturization ......

No words can explain the emotions portrayed in this film , kudos to Ms Mansi Jain for such a lovely piece , the mom character has lived it , the exact go through of many housewives in India 🙏
Such a nice story for someone to think we blame our parents when they don't understand why our relationship is not working, when tables are turned, we too are equally ignorant. Beautifully portrayed.
Woman's day out... In Indian families, women, especially if they are not financially independent, usually live a miserable life. Often exploited in thankless domestic chores n upbringing of kids for years with hardly any space of their own, they face humiliation in the hands of husbands on the one hand n kids on the other even in the advanced years of their lives despite being selfless n sacrificing to the core. Wonderful story ! Scene stealing performance of Seema Pahwa ji brings tears to the eyes. Her breaking free to buy footwear for herself.. enjoying smoking n boating...are her moments of liberation...of moksha. Her daughter comes off, though belatedly, as a whiff of fresh air ..and of hope.. despite her heartlessness in not understanding her mother's distress in the initial stages.. Thanks a lot to the whole team for giving us this slice-of-life experience! Moral: First step towards the giant goal of fulfilling her small wishes, amidst her humdrum life, has to be taken by the woman herself, no matter what.

When I saw the trailer I saw many people commenting "Good that people are making movie on Domestic Violence" But this was not related to Domestic Violence but it was more serious topic where women are made to sacrifice all their wishes serving the family... we're bound by tradition and culture and in return if we can fulfill some of their wishes we should do it... This film is a poignant reminder to check in on our mothers beyond the surface. "Everything Is Fine" is a powerful piece that tugs at the heartstrings and urges us to truly listen. Bravo, Mansi Nira Jain!
I literally cried after watching this.. As I grew up I have seen my mom making sacrifices for herself and heard many taunts from relatives and now as I am earning good now and grown up I make sure she is having good times and don't make compromises anymore and live for herself fully
To people saying that the daughter should've understood her mother's feelings and empathized with her instantly- it doesn't work that way, considering the situation they're in. Our mothers and grandmothers and great grandmothers sacrificed their lives for their family. What they wanted didn't matter, and they had to do everything the husband said so because the husband is always ’right’ and ‘knows what he's doing’ which also used to be the ‘norm’ before. The mother in the story probably did not show that she was unhappy to the daughter, and pretended that everything was fine. (Also keep in mind that most Indian famlies don't open up about their feelings or talk about their broken marriages.) So when she finally told her daughter that she couldn't live with her husband anymore, the daughter’s reaction was natural. She doesn't know the big picture. Her mom never opened up about these things. And later on, as they spent more time together, the daughter started noticing how condescending her father was towards the mother... Understood her mother's feelings... And in the end when they went boating, the daughter told her mother that she could live with her and that they'd figure it out... So it's not the daughter’s fault that she didn't understand her mother immediately. In her mind she thought that everything was going fine between her parents and that her mom was overreacting.
I disagree with you. If mother is telling she wants to leave her husband and live with daughter, that doesn't mean always she actually means her words. It might mean she wants to vent out her frustration, need some shoulder to relax on and someone who can tell her yes I am there whenever you need me. If a daughter who is even independent can not provide such assurance to her mother then there is no value of being independent.
@@shushmapriya I understand what you're saying. So she's independent, that does not mean she knows what's going on with her parents, does she? She's been living away from them and since her mother did not tell her daughter about her broken marriage, the daughter obviously thought eveything was going ok with her parents. And that the mother was just being silly or overthinking. If only she had lived with them, seen how toxic the father was, or if her mom had opened up about how she wasn't happy with the marriage, the daughter would've known. But she didn't.
I totally agree with your explanation and the title says a lot .a daughter who is staying away and whenever she asks mom how are you she will of course say everything is fine !!!

I don't think women become okay just because someone stays and talks to them. I think they just resign to the fact that they think they cannot do anything about it. That's why it's very very important that everyone is in a position to be self-sufficient when crisis strikes. Most women of that generation lacked education or did not pursue an income generating career that leads them to believe that they cannot take care of themselves. So they are trapped in unhappy marriages because of it.
@@mishtu89 I dnt know about ur experience, but it's common in a family when someone/family member appreciate the efforts made by the ladies. Appreciating helps us and fill us with a positive attitude. Now a days, it's very common that u go for a mutual divorce or seperation if someone is not comfortable in married life. As the society changes so we also. But talk to some older people who are still carrying the burden of marriage just becoz of family/society sake and may be other reason. Everyone is right by his/her own perspective. The important point here to focus is that in general ladies are less appreciated at home and they have also right to live freely, express freely ....
The mother's situation is hauntinglybpainful. What a shame that mothers in their middle age have to still live caged lives, listening to their hudband's taunts and insults in the garb of domesticity. In fact it has become do acceptable and goes unnoticed , the taunts men shower on their wives all the time. Initially even the daughter found nothing wrong. Men put such women on a pedestal who like the Christ carry all the burdens of the household.
Such a beautiful movie 🎥 with emotional & sensitive feelings of the struggling wife into a relationship where her say means nothing to anyone. A typical wife in our society who’s wishes means nothing even to her own daughter. Shocking that her daughter doesn’t try to go deeper to understand the agony of her mother going through. Irony, is what we can say. Later part wife decides to do what she herself wants is beautiful. After all everyone has the right to live their wishes. And here her wishes are so small & innocent. Loved every bit of this movie. Thanks to the makers & congratulations to entire team for this beautiful amazing movie. 🤗🤗🤗
one of my favorite channel Large short film few i watch again and again they are mostly related to reality and common people. This is one of my favorite one when ever i see this i remember my mom and grandma cant stop tears. lots emotions lots of adjustment in women's life. Whole heatedly just want to say Thank you.
Very emotional & touchy 😭😭 left me in tears..... The most important thing missing today is having feeling of compassion for the other.... sometimes being understood relieves oneself from stress.....& is the first step towards the liberation of the soul....from the unnecessary
No words to describe how thoughtful the storyline is...only possible for a woman to understand her state of mind...which millions of women feel but cant express...a husband, a child forgets that 'mom ' or' wife ' is also a human being....my heartfelt thanks to the person behind the story...❤❤❤❤❤❤
I can see the reflection of my mother’s life in this lady . I can feel this pain. I always try to support my mom. Now it’s not possible for me to give her financial support cause I am still a student. But In Sha Allah when I will finish my MBBS course & start income I will travel abroad countries with my mom. She loves travelling very much but couldn’t go anywhere to serve her duties toward our huge joint family. Whenever I think about her life & all her unfulfilled wishes, it makes me sad , even sometimes makes me feel that marriage is a burden 😥really this video made me cry 😔
one of the finest story in Series of Royal Stags..so simple..yet so complicated... A woman gives up all the simple pleasures of life for her family.. husband, child, who doesn't care a damn about what she wants or desires! Superb role by seema pahwa
When she was a kid, she was told "you can go out once you grow up".
When she grew up, she was told "you can go out once you are married"
When she got married, she was told "Have kids"
When she had kids, she was told to look after them...
When she is old, they said "abhi koi umr hain ghoomne ki?" (Translation: "Is this the age to go out and enjoy?")

It's true
@@rukhshanarabadi316 yes people need to speak up for themselves. 'sehna' in the name of family is not right.
@@deepamalviya8845 Absolutely
Rukhshana Rabadi but this short film highlights that it is NOT about speaking up. The mother voices her protests frequently throughout the film. All of her feelings and thoughts are just dismissed because Indian culture views women’s emotions as annoying/dramatic or non important...I saw this firsthand with my own mother
@@zxty34 Yes, she opens up to her daughter but not to her husband. If from day one she would have spoken to her husband and if he was a reasonable person he would have understood that she also is an individual and sometimes she would also like to do things as per her own wishes.
How can a daughter not understand her mother... Seeing a mother crying is so much painful...
Shruti Singhwal exactly senseless daughters are there who just think about themselves
Exactly... Even I don't get this....
She's seema pahwa , an veteran actress and a beautiful performer
It is very sad, that we didn't know the name of such artists n we r idolising Bollywood craps....great actress.Seema Pahwa .

@harjotkaur6352 well said. It is the patriarchal setup everyone takes for granted. Different sets of rules for men and women.
Elastic jitna khinchtha hai uthna hee chalega. Baad mein rebound tho hoga hee.
The very moment her mom stepped out of the house buys shoes , smokes and goes for boating .. That made me so happy ..

I made my mother watch this short film and seeing her smile watching the ending and saying "sahi kiya" was damn satisfying
'I can't live with your father' means a lot!!
When parents say like this they mean it!
The smile on the mother's face ! When she goes outside on her own riding on a rickshaw , buying that sandal! That smile was so innocent and so pure !

The is such a beautiful series which shows the little things which every typical housewives or even working wives go through...
Did anyone noticed that when they reached home after travelling the husband asked to make tea stating that he is tired without thinking that even the wife has also travelled and she needs rest too.
The small insults the husband's do in the name of joke ... stop doing that.
The wives are doing so much for their husbands... Atleast give them respect for that and if possible give some love too...
My thoughts exactly... When he said in tired...I was thinking even the wife is tired...
Well said, but truly how many times does husband appreciate !!!!

Most women live someone's life . When I said I can't women in my house says all men are same we too suffer so much are you the only one . You just can't live like that 😕
When men will start treating his wife as a queen before treating his daughter as a princess.....that day A Modern Indian society will born.
Kya queen and princess? They need to start treating us as humans first
Modern he toh nahi samajhta koi.. thinking limit kar rakhi h.. modern word ki tipni alag kar denge ...
@Praveen how do you know if I have started from our house or not?
@Praveen this is all your assumption. How can you assume that I haven't started it from my house? How is my comment outrageous? I never said anything about women mistreating men. You are saying that. There is inequality among both the genders but it is women who suffer the most.
@Praveen I'm talking about the ratio to both men and women's sufferance in our society as a whole.
The bottom line is... "Our happiness is lying in our own hand, and we should be the sole in charge of it".
Well said
Not so easy . It's easy to say that our happiness lying in our hand .
Not giving freedom to anyone is one of the biggest crime.
Right
It breaks my heart 💔 seeing her crying...

Funny how a seemingly "progressive" daughter had such a small minded argument to give for her clearly depressed mother.
Maybe it was the first time she saw the truth of their relationship and feared the thought of their separation, doesn't matter if daughter or son, thought of your parents separation is dreadful in its own right,
I guess this is what it means when they say "jab bade ho jaoge tab samjoge".
exactly. she had a defensive knee jerk reaction and by the time she saw things and changed her mind...

She is self depend. And I praised her, I'm proud son of you mummy. Thanks god
( Whole short movie, show that Mom has her own interest, freedom, but noone care) this is very strong message to society about women
They are not dependent at all. They are self sufficient. But we are dominating them. Sad reality of our society. Happy to hear that your mom is doing well. Wish her a very happy mother's day. 🙂🌹
Thank you for your words
I appreciate your thinking , ur interpretation
This line “ whose life doesn’t have problems” . It overshadows what one feels from inside. when one is not happy in certain situation it means he or she is not happy period
I can relate with the story. My mum cried and suffered for 22 years of her married life. And also her mother was not a good one so she didn't find happiness before marriage too. But now she is about 43 and left home . She is happy and doing her own job. I don't know how many years I have to wait to meet her . Don't if I'll be able or not. But I'm glad that she will live her life being happy and without any restrictions 🤞
I couldn't see her crying like that...so much suppressed inside her...can't even cry loudly
most men lack sensitivity until its their balls that get hurt reminds them that what life is and what feelings are !!
Seema ne humesha humain aik alag maa se milaya hai jin ko hum aam zindagi mai pehchan nahi paate ❤️
Amazing actress 👸
Really close to my heart 😍
She is too good
An epic, what beautifully created and touched the heart. A dark truth of almost 80% of women

Story is captured so raw and real & & dialogues are very clearly audible , there is no unwanted background noise or unnecessary sound. Kudos to Resul Pookutty and Vijay Kumar , as always best sound work.
No words can explain the emotions portrayed in this film , kudos to Ms Mansi Jain for such a lovely piece , the mom character has lived it , the exact go through of many housewives in India 🙏
When there is no one to understand and accompany ,a person finds own ways to be happy
@@nancyyadav3768 Thanks for your comment Ma'am 🙏. I've seen life... observed my mother, my maasi n my whole bunch of chachis apart from what has been happening around me.. I've always considered these women 'unsung heroines'. Exploitation, humiliation, suffering, craving for fresh air n small pleasures of life - all these have to be viewed from the perspective of human life irrespective of gender. It is all about our mindsets. Understanding others n respecting all are the key mantras.

When I saw the trailer I saw many people commenting "Good that people are making movie on Domestic Violence"
But this was not related to Domestic Violence but it was more serious topic where women are made to sacrifice all their wishes serving the family... we're bound by tradition and culture and in return if we can fulfill some of their wishes we should do it...
Happy Mother's day
There is also a thing called ‘Emotional abuse’.
@@ambikadani803 certainly there is...I commented based on the comments I saw on the trailer...
Some...i mean why not all
This film is a poignant reminder to check in on our mothers beyond the surface.
Very powerful message in this short movie!! This is story of all middle class women who can't do anything of their own choice!
(Also keep in mind that most Indian famlies don't open up about their feelings or talk about their broken marriages.)
So when she finally told her daughter that she couldn't live with her husband anymore, the daughter’s reaction was natural.
But she didn't.
you crisp it in a very lucid form.
Agree
I totally agree with your explanation and the title says a lot .a daughter who is staying away and whenever she asks mom how are you she will of course say everything is fine !!!
badki showed her acting skills with that docile timid soft spoken deeply pained girl in humlog. A highly underrated actress who never got her due in mainstream cinema because of her ordinary looks. Thats sad. Never got a chance to be pitted against top class actresses of her time.
@Vishal Srivastav you got triggered because he found her looks ordinary? You need to understand beauty is subjective and learn to live with opinions that you don't agree with.
I first saw her natural looks and speech in Bareily ki Barfi.
I believe every young Indian sees reflection of his mother in her.
Looks way too kind hearted!
@Vishal Srivastav She is an actor, a public figure, and the audience will have various opinions about them. Last I checked, this is a free country, so people have the right to hold their opinions.
Vishal Srivastav You seem like such an idiot! You are all that you accused Mr. Banerjee of. God!! Just read what he wrote originally. Comprehension problems much? You also seem to have some issues in your life. Go get them fixed instead of ranting here.
I just loved her in bareily ki barfi ❤️
The actress playing the mother did a splendid job. Hope to watch her in more works
I am so grateful that my mother has always been so close to me and I know if she says she wants to get away from everything I will always have her back. If not a good child then don't have children ....
Everyone needs their space and freedom. Everyone deserve to live to laugh to enjoy. Why always we say 'ki kya kami h'? If everything is ok, then why a person will cry at night? Every female needs time for things to settle down...
So true❤❤
Its not about Woman only... Its about everybody who needs their space...

We will surely send them abroad for a trip once this Corona ends.
Superb .. theist who acted as mother had done a wonderful job.. have to admit .. tears came out after watching this .. many mothers are like that and still they don’t compliant or they are doing it but we don’t realize it .. we must try to hear them and be with them and make their small dreams come true .. they also want to be part of our lives and they want to be happy like us .. Love you all mothers ❤️❤️..
hats off to the whole crew .. well done guys to bring a great work like this
Those small emotions and feelings were so efficiently conveyed, wonderful concept, relatable, portrayed the core reality scenes of a usual household, acting was to the point! Commendable!👏
Truly the word I can't live like this it means a lot to say...
Imagine never being enough for somebody, no matter what you do. Still, happy mothers day 🥺
Mom: "everything is fine beta"
But Deep down there is lots of things going in her head
So true 💯
Shit! I'm in tears. my mother.. she is no more in this world and this is how she suffered for 45 yrs, even worst than this. But she never asked to stay with me. I wish I could just keep her from my abusive father but she never wanted to leave him unlike this actress.
Recently I took my mom that too in Goa! Ppl said it's not safe and blah blah but we made it. My mom got a break and so did I. Those 3 days were beautiful days of her life! No pressure. Just the sukoon vala breeze and us. So daughters and sons do take your mom somewhere they really need a break. Instead of taking gfs and bfs outside take them sometimes.
You made the right decision for yourself mam. Its a lesson for all of us. Xxxx
It happens, we ladies always adjust especially after marriage and then everyone says it's ok, everything is fine and someone is just stays with us for a while or talk we ladies become ok. That's life
Okay...
As gender don't we both experience equal rights...as one guy mentioned here in comments...
They both came via train and had tired also...despite this husband asks her to prepare tea..by just saying he is tired and have back pain...and he is not at all...ready to take her for an outing...
As u said, I can understand the always womens try to adjust...their married life...but how long....
Don't this want to end.....
Over all am a male...i don't wanna encourage this....an fed up seeing this stuffs in ma own family...
@@ibnNisha what u want to say, I dnt understand, partners should enjoy equal rights, and it can be possible to let them enjoy sometimes, say in this movie if the wife wants to go for boating then they can go for boating first instead of seeing a relative. It's just my views, it all depends on family.
@@Video201011 yeah youre right...
That's what I mean....
I mean same as you said..overall...partens should enjoy equally, should consider their view in an equal manner, always allow to share their ideas...and finally men shouldn't underestimate womens
This was a lovely short film and so well acted by the mother. I hope she took her daughters offer in the end.
true
I don't have words to share...just the feeling how mom feels...
Very emotional & touchy 😭😭 left me in tears..... The most important thing missing today is having feeling of compassion for the other.... sometimes being understood relieves oneself from stress.....& is the first step towards the liberation of the soul....from the unnecessary
No words to describe how thoughtful the storyline is...only possible for a woman to understand her state of mind...which millions of women feel but cant express...a husband, a child forgets that 'mom ' or' wife ' is also a human being....my heartfelt thanks to the person behind the story...❤❤❤❤❤❤
thank you
I can see the reflection of my mother’s life in this lady .
