Did anyone notice , in the starting she sat on the spot where it was written "yahan baithna Mana hai" . Still she sat there because she couldn't read it .. it is shown very beautifully by makers of the film . Kudos . Great story .

I'm so glad to see a little girl taking the initiative to teach her mother. Instead of her mother learning from a school for adults, learning from her own child is a brand new concept!
No it's not. Mothers have been learnin nd growin with us since ages while helpin us with our homework or study, cuz time has changed nd things have evolved from her time of schools/colleges. My mother is n LLB nd she still acts dumb nd learns new things with me or my brother when we study. Be it for UPSC or anythin else. Nd I know, mommies at ur end do the same. :)

Here I am in the US, crying my eyes out at the plight of this poor Indian mother who can't read or write, the wife of a "jawaan", who gave his life for his country. She educated her daughter so well, and now her sweet little darling educates her!! WOW what a sweet story -Jai Hind!! Namaste🙏 from USA!!

A wonderful short film, I really liked it because, pehli baat to yeh ki maine ye movie aapni mamma ke sath dekhi and we both are loving it and second most thing is ki yeh ek inspiring movie hai so agar aap yeh movie apne parents ke sath dekhre hain and especially apni mom ke sath dekhre hain toh aapko bohot maza aayega.

Jb me bahut choti thi ,jb koi Meri maa Ko signature dalne ko khta tha tb Bo kuchh nhi kr pati thi Bo bhi angutha hi lagati thi . Beautiful movie. Very simple but too emotional and effective. Reminds me of my mom who is no more. But how compassionate she was towards reading and writing although never done schooling in her childhood. She also educated herself without any extra help from outside and started doing signatures and then went on writing letters and reading newspapers every morning. I m so proud of her. Love you mom ❤️.

I found this bit relatable to my life. My aunt was too interested to study but wasn't sent to school at her time and later when we started studying she used to learn things with us. She learnt counting, her signature and also phone number but later as we moved on to different place that learning was stopped.
This short film made me remember that. I feel I should have helped her more....

Felt so lucky after watching this shows how privileged we all are that we can read and write. Our parents had done this for us. Basically illiteracy is a sin. We all must educate at least one of illiterate person in our life. If this little girl can do, then why we can't.
