Beautiful movie. Very simple but too emotional and effective. Reminds me of my mom who is no more. But how compassionate she was towards reading and writing although never done schooling in her childhood. Felt so lucky after watching this shows how privileged we all are that we can read and write. Our parents had done this for us. Basically illiteracy is a sin. We all must educate at least one of illiterate person in our life. If this little girl can do, then why we can't.
I found this bit relatable to my life. My aunt was too interested to study but wasn't sent to school at her time and later when we started studying she used to learn things with us. She learnt counting, her signature and also phone number but later as we moved on to different place that learning was stopped. This short film made me remember that. I feel I should have helped her more....

Beautifully presented. I could relate with my help maid who's not educated. Her husband did suicide when she was pregnant with 4th child. She was tortured by her bro in law for 2 yrs. Then her parents sent her to Delhi. Now she's working whole day to educate her 3 daughters, her son didn't study. Her daughters taught her several things.

Girls are always encouraging and support their parents very much. I wish that, every child keep supporting & respect their parents in this way, while people are taunting. My Maa passed away 2.5 yrs back, she was very talented & educated (also my 3 Maternal Uncles & 2 Aunties as well, whether my Granny i.e. Nani was 3/4th Std. pass student) but she always be proud and informed others that my elder daughter makes me total tech savvy. I no need to feel occourd
