I've been having a lot of fun playing Thunder but I for sure feel its been power crept at this point.
I feel like the game has changed so much to where protos and colossus just doesn't matter in most situations. The cards are phenomenal don't get me wrong but there are much stronger decks that can compete with decks from the past.
I agree but this dude was lucky enough to have the out all the time. That is not the reality to floodgates you can legitimately pull from your deck/ED
No, no protos actually matters a lot. Tearlments now abuse it by using the rank 8 vampire to search special summon your main monsters group to their field to ruin your whole turn. Had it happen to me back to back.
What was collosus doing back in TOSS? Striker was still the best deck by far. It was literally just draw the out or lose, and statistically people will draw the out lmao
@@crimsonraiza3633 there are so many outs to 1 colossus though. Colossus at 3 would be a problem but at 1, it's quite manageable.
@@nbafanboy1967 I'm not saying there aren't outs, there are outs to everything but just looking at a game where they top decked the out where they could have lost if they didn't isn't a good example. It can definitely steal games although it's not the same as it once was. I don't think it's good enough for people to make whole decks around I agree.

I must be stupid but why does he not use his bystials on Lo. Doesn’t that shutdown most of the VV interactions if Lo isnt on field.
So at the point you were thinking, if you bystial the lo there, the skull guardian just searches lo instead of oldman and he still sets everything up because he hadn't normaled. I think knowing this, Thunder theory valued the bystial's ability to banish his thunder cards more.

@Harmonic14 yeah I understand the scepticism, especially cuz u don't know me. I'm sure he's just testing a bad list, but he will improve it. If there's one thing I'll let you know is that I used to play thunders when it first came out, after I stuck to dlink for 4 years (going strong), and I've built every possible dragon mishmash list you can imagine
