- A bit of a cautious pace going up, something about leading that makes me dial it back a notch compared to a solo run or following locals. Some really great memories on the "old" pavement, fingers crossed the new surface is good.
Skillful rider with smooth riding, combined with the XR, provides a great symphony! Great to see you riding again Cuban! 👍🕊️🇧🇷
Thanks. I'm not out there yet since they're repaving the road, this was a run from last November when we could still enjoy it. I'm planning to get back later this year and ride the new pavement, I don't think it will be nearly as sticky as the old one, it's going to take some time to cure.
Hello cuban i ride my s1000xr 2019 and cant get the wheelie up like you, did you desactívate anithing for this?
Cant fin the manual for antiwheelie off
Because i think is in the DTC but i ser your lights off so that means you have it on same as abs?
I would Love to hear it from you chers bro and be safe saludos de México
Sinaloa , we ride the CAÍN track! In the mountains check out that road race bro
Came for the XR , stayed for the XR 😎🫵🏼
Was that antman on tuono 😁 .
Anyway you should try a yamaha mt10sp .atleast for the music 😳😁
Sure was! And I'd love to own an MT-10 myself, that engine's noise and character makes for an amazing street bike, it's just that they're still on the heavy side, same as the Tuono.

Mine is 205kg fully fueled 😁.
It feels agile.
@@Micke65 Very nice. The S1000R is sub-200kg stock, hoping to bring it to around 192kg once I do headers and lithium battery 👌
it would be nice to see video from the guy behind you.🤞
Way to ride the XR Cuban! Braaap
Hope you come back soon!!!
I'm going back again soon with a group. Can't wait!
New pavement too!
CUANTA ADRENALINA EN UN SOLO VIDEO... GENIAL,,, SALUDOS QUERIDO.
great to see all you guys kicking ass at dragon.. hope to see you over there. seem faster some reason + smooth ! cheers live in Andrews NC 45 min away-
Very nice, that's just down there road. I've drove plenty thru your area to go to Walmart. 😄
Smooth!
Hey Cuban, it's been awhile since you've posted, I just traded in my 765 RS in for a 2023 M Package S1000XR and I've gotta ask....
What mods would you recommend right off the bat for it?
Congrats man, badass bike. These bikes are pretty damn good from the factory, so sticky tires and have fun. If you start doing track days, then you'll probably want to upgrade the brake pads, fluid and maybe consider rearsets. For the street just do radiator protector and engine case protectors just in case.
@CubanRider Thanks, buddy. After having 3 Street Triples (one I blame because of your video reviewing it) this is a whole new world.
Thanks for the advice! I will do as you say....
By the way you need to come up here to the West Coast of Canada, we've got some great roads
Hello, I'm a rider who rides s1000xr in Korea. I always enjoy watching your videos. If I have a chance, I would like to see someone behind you riding a bike. I'm going to learn from watching you ride weight movements, clutch manipulation, breaking skills, etc. I hope you're always safe riding.
Nice riding! Which is your favorite tire on the XR for street usage? I am on my 4th set of michelin road 5 on my K49 XR, i like them a lot. In my opinion they have a good durability but you can also drive them very sporty.
Greetings from Germany!
Isn't that stretch of road called The Dragon? The Tail of the Dragon is a business. Their marketing was so good its now changed the name of the stretch. Like Dairy Queen Drive.
Deal's Gap, Tail of the Dragon,The Dragon, US-129, etc.
it's deals Gap, any other name is marketing.
Regardless of whichever came first, the road is widely known as the tail of the dragon. Of course when speaking to people who are familiar with it, it's just the dragon, or the hill for those very local to it.
I'm going to be at this location soon! I'm riding up from St Louis on my MT09SP. Hopefully, the paving will be done, but if not.. It's ok. Pleanty of nearby awesome roads to ride! You're still my favorite road racer!
28, Cherohala, Happy Valley, Foothill Parkway, there are so many good roads in the area that even without the dragon you can have an amazing time, and the MT09 SP is perfect for these roads!
@@CubanRider those are all on the list! It's going to be a 2wk 2k road trip on 2's!
@@SocalMotoMo that's amazing, enjoy! Hoping I can do a long trip soon myself 🤙
How about that sprint race today?? Turn five was ice
Yeah that race was a heart-breaker, brutal.
@@CubanRider Marquez and Peco! What a battle!
When I come over the Pond I want you to lead me around the Tail
Is that an M1000R your friend was riding?
Sure it! Sick bike.
@@CubanRider curious how it feels? I know it’s lighter than a Ducati SFV4S
@@RadDadisRad I think it should feel similar to the S1000R since on a road like this you can't explore the entire potential of the engine. Hopefully I can find out soon 😉
Back on the xr. 😂
Be there in a week!
🤩🤩🤩😎😎😎🏁🏁🏁
We’re you not tempted to take the s1000r ?👊✊️✊️
