I mean from a logic standpoint it makes sense... but from a game standpoint what he does is completely wrong

Does the game tell you what the briefcase does?
@@legion999 It allows you to take more items with you. It unmarks the additional hands.
I'm uncertain whether or not it allows you to carry more stuff back with you.
@@DoctorShroom The answer is no, it does not do anything except allow to bring additional items. Every other item (except food, water, med kit, gas mask) creates a chance of additional supplies via event. The briefcase by itself does nothing except creating the possibility of losing it. If he is going to bring the briefcase he should have at least two other items to make it worth bringing.

@@legion999 I don't know that it states it explicitly, but it is very clearly visually represented when you equip any character with a briefcase, by showing additional hands as free to use rather than crossed out.
NL, family members can't go insane from just one event, they all have a sanity stat that goes down every time you do something bad or fail to give them enough entertainment.
As you may know, when a family member goes insane, they are on a countdown to their removal from the game.
You can cure them by raising the character's sanity (Pancake, Sharikov, helping people that ask for supples will raise your character's sanity).
If you can cure them of insanity, the countdown will pause, not reset, just pause.
I'm a simple man. Any time I see an NL episode with "trainwreck" in the title, I know I'm gonna like it.

Hey NL I’m loving this series and I’d thought I’d give you some spoiler free advice.
The Boy Scout Book is one of the strongest items in the game allowing you to repair your radio, map, Gun, flashlight , and gas mask, along with allowing you to create a med kit.
The knocking at the door in the first few days is usually a good thing if you “forgot” something.
Best rationing rate is food every 10 days and water every 5 days.
The game has a karma system and it’ll let you know your karma with a mark in the bunker.
Timmy is the best scavenger.
Pancake is typically more helpful than Sharikov.
And about the endings just know all groups are watching you.
I believed you until you said Timmy is the best scavenger.
Masked Manatee he is tho, Timmy comes back the quickest and generally hauls a good amount of stuff

NL was doing so well in the first few episodes it couldn't last forever

LETS GO! I feel like when Rebirth was released, waiting for your next 60 seconds video every day.
I think that having only two people in the bunker is limiting your chances. If the person leaving the bunker doesn't come back then your stuck with one person and with limited opportunities to leave the bunker.
Assuming that NL reads comments on all his videos, he must be so sick and tired of hearing all of the comments telling him to not bring only a briefcase on raids, not to raid innocents, always grab the handbook, etc. Perhaps in 27 more episodes when the backlog catches up he will acknowledge the comments, and for the next ten or so episodes he will silently seath at the comments he reads telling him to do something he already knows.

I enjoyed the episode and I realize you know this by now but how often are you going to rob people and go for the twins event? First!
NL, I know that due to backlod you might already know this or will never see this comment, but - there's an exploit you can do during endgame to help hold out and avoid raider attacks. You've probably noticed that on days where you were prepared for an expedition but sent nobody, you didn't get a random encounter. Thus, you can prepare an expedition towards the end, and then not send anybody, to lower the chances of bandit attacks while keeping yourself safe. Hope this helps!
