About this game:
With only 60 seconds left to impact, go on a mad dash through the house in search of family members and useful supplies. Everything will be against you: time, your very own furniture, a house that's different every time you play, and the fundamental question... what to take with you and who to leave behind?
He grabbed so many things hoping to stave off insanity, then both survivors go insane immediately. This series is incredible.

I think he's going to feel at least a little silly when he realizes the truth of that just because of how adamant and automatic he was on that for these videos. Like it's the one thing he never even doubted doing (like for a moment he even doubted sending briefcase and 1 item once in a previous video). Only other thing he's so sure about is buying the rock (watch, I bet doing that speeds up how often you get raider encounters).
I've never seen raiding that neighbor add the bloody handprint.
Is that not how it works?
Edit: To clarify, I mean Ned, the one that NL was referring to with "Our neighbor is asking to be raided", not the other neighbors.

I've played 60 seconds for a long time, and I've never seen 2 family members become crazy on day 3...
It's great, you're the guy who posted yesterday they can't go insane from one event too right? Game's like "oh yeah person who's going to comment in like a week or so (because of backlog), you're WRONG."

TIP: I saw someone mention this comment a few episodes again and I would like to bring it up again~ When you RAID, the survivors don’t make contact with you in fear you steal supplies from them hence NO TWIN ending/less missions. Also the CLICK on the MAP to send scavengers aka Timmy to different locations for different supplies.~
The briefcase has two uses:
1. The briefcase may have items in it when you take it into the shelter.
2. The briefcase allows you to take more items when you go OUT on an expedition. It does not mean you will bring more items BACK however. NL doesn't seem to grasp this lol
And, as others have said, raiding other survivors locks you out of the twin ending. If you see a bloody handprint on the wall of the bunker, it means that you can't get the Twin Ending during that run.
I know you are not going to read this but anyway, STOP SENDING TIMMY WITH THE BRIEFCASE!!! THATS NOT HOW IT WORKS!!!!!!

Other good advice to note about the characters, Timmy is the best scavenger for food and water because he comes back fast and brings a lot, Dolores is resistant to insanity and scavenges sanity-restoring items like the checkerboard and cards, Mary Jane may be prone to insanity but she can be mutated, Ted starves slower than the other characters but if he's the only one in the bunker at the start he'll go crazy on day 2.
I love that he googles how to fix sanity but still can't figure out basics like how the briefcase works. Never change, egg.
NL, unlike thirst, family members have a "hunger meter", so their hunger won't disappear with just feeding them once (Assuming you haven't fed them in a while).

Well the game's tutorial does subtly suggest it at least. It like straight out tells him to make sure anyone going on an expedition is well fed. He just takes that as "always feed them before they go."
At 6:46 when NL just stares at the camera, that’s absolute comedy gold

I don't think you're using the briefcase correctly. It doesn't retrieve more loot. It's for taking out more supplies, to help the scavenger survive.
This episode: NL once again throws away the chance to be saved by the Twins after sinking resources into that ending

Yeah, and he already "knew" that right? I'm sure he had that happen on a gasmask use of the event (and it's logical to assume the others will do it). Though I can't remember if it was one of NL's videos or one of the Sinvicta ones I watched (I know it was one of them, and I only saw like 3 episodes of the latter).

i think i figured out by now that the suitcase lets you bring stuff with you on expeditions and doesnt let you get more stuff. thats why more hands open up when you equip it. its for gear.

Another thing Egg’s gotta learn, food is way less important than water. A character can survive I believe 4 days without water, 10 without food, yet he treats them as though they’re of equal value. Unless food is substantially lower, water is always more valuable

forgive my ignorance, but is ted straight up a better pick that dolores? since if you want to get all the family members, dolores weighs 2 slots and ted weighs 3. Seems like a small difference but still a difference nonetheless
A little late, but the only perk that Ted has is that he has resistance to hunger. Dolores has much more perks, like resistance to insanity and some events that are exclusive to hers, like instructing mary Jane in building medikits or the translate code one.

Dolores has a lot of perks over Ted; unique events and a low chance to go crazy. iirc all Ted's got is he gets hungry slower

Okay the briefcase has literally done nothing in 9 out of 10 episodes, its trash tier atleast in the eyes of someone whos never played the game myself. Also is there an advantage to taking dolores? As there is a disadvantage in that ted takes 3 slots while dolores takes 2 so ted has an advantage making dolores seem like the worse starting character if youre grabbing the whole family
The briefcase doesn't do anything by itself, but it does let you take 3 other items, most of which do have some effect. NL doesn't realize this.

When you bring the briefcase into the bunker it gives you items. For example he got a gas mask in this episode.

I noticed that too. With Ted, Delores takes two slots, but with Delores, Ted takes 3 slots. So what's the point? I haven't played the game myself, but it looks to me that Delores gets tired more often, and Ted goes crazy more often. So maybe they have their own quirks.
