Beth and Rick had that conversation about how she "forgot the ice cream" and then the whole situation that played out where it was starting to effect the family in much the same way as Rick's behavior has effected his various families. The hiding of the wine was just a way to show us that Rick is growing. As far as Jerry kissing the other Jerry at the end. He was turned on by the whole Beth thing and wanted to know if it would work with just himself the way it worked with her. It didn't so they shook hands and pretended it never happened.
They straight-up told us in Episode 1 that him turning off the time loop in Universe C-137 was a sign of him moving on. Morty telling him that he sees him as his real grandpa got Rick to abort his suicide mission against Rick Prime. That really hit him. When describing Prime, he said he’s the real deal because he truly doesn’t care, implying that C-137 actually does. He tried to tell the Smiths that the concept of family doesn’t matter to him & that he could’ve abandoned them after Mr. Frundles, yet he didn’t. I believe this season is gonna be him letting go of his grief & god complex. Also there’s a theory that the Venetian Wine was related to Venus, Goddess of Love, which could’ve played a part in the Beth selfcest relationship. Hell, some people think Rick might’ve elaborately caused this. Either as another drunk gift for Jerry from their bonding time or he could’ve just done it hoping Jerry would actually commit suicide after finding out & it hilariously backfired.
Same here, the past two had good story, but I didn’t laugh all this much. This is probably the first time I’ve laughed so hard, I lost my breath since season 3 or 4
I'm glad they shined light on the fact that summer and Morty always find a way to shield themselves from all the problems. Morty was always going on adventures and summer would either tag along or had her own thing going on. Now that they don't have anywhere to go to hide from it, we see how broken they really are by their parents marriage and how much they actually care.

Well...Beth called Space Beth "jaded and hot" and SB called Beth "Naïve, but pretty" the first time they met (in season 4), so there might have been something between them even back then.
They were starting to hint at a possibility of space Beth having a thing for herself as she started complimenting herself in episode 1, somewhat passing a tiny flirt her own way. Add in that Beth is so narcissistic that she'd definitely want to get with herself, and yeah, I can definitely see this having nothing to do with the wine.
The ending with the bottle was confusing but I think with the way Rick destroyed the remote to the hidden cabinet that it wasn’t anything planned by him. Why he didn’t just destroy the contents I don’t know yet that seemed like an indication that he wanted nobody to be able to access what was inside.
I saw that last scene as Rick giving up on drinking, or, at least, giving up on drinking that particularly heavy stuff. Not only does he put it away but he destroys the, presumably, only method of accessing it and everything else in that cupboard.
That's a closet for "shit that we need to never touch again." (The Meeseeks box was in there too). He didn't induce anything, this is the equivalent to never letting the friend that always does batshit stuff when they drink tequila ever drink tequila if you can stop it.
I read the tittle of this episode as Bethic Twincest instead of Bethic Twinstinct and after the kitchen scene I knew it was going there but the dinner scene probably the funniest bit this season so far and weirdest

I'm probably completley wrong, but in earlier seasons Rick has always been trying to get rid of Jerry. When Jerry said he would kill himself if Beth left him, Rick saw this as an opportunity to get rid of him. Rick planted some love potion wine, knowing Beth loves to drink wine, hoping that the Beth's would hook up and cause Jerry to leave or kill himself. At the end of the episode, when Jerry says he learnt something, Rick replies so did he. Rick learnt that the Beth's hooking up would not get rid of Jerry, so he disposes of the wine knowing that his plan did not work
I think that just the opposite, Rick created an armor for Jerry so he doesn't kill himself! Jerry is important to Rick, right Rick was drunk when he did it but still.
Nope. If Rick wanted to use a love potion to make Beth fall for someone else, he would have left it out manyyyy seasons ago on purpose... Rick said he learned a lesson at the end because he left it *completely* out on accident. And Season 6 is much more respecting and less aggressively towards Jerry, so, him trying to make his daughter drink a love potion in her own house doesn't really make any sense, when it'd only probably mean she's fall in love with whoever is in the house instead...... so.... unless you think it was Rick's intention for his daughter to fall in love with him, Summer, or Morty, I don't really see how this makes any sense.

Venus is a Roman goddess who was "identified by the Romans with the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite," according to Encyclopedia Britannica. Potentially the Venusian wine is a love potion. Rick destroying the remote and thus removing access to the wine implies Rick believed it was the wine which amplified Space Beth and Beth's affection for each other, leading to them falling in love.

Yeah I agree with u guys that this is more like old skool Rick & Morty without it goin 2 far! So many ppl have said it's too awkward. But I actually think it's hilarious. Similar to the one with Morty & the horse machine! Yeah of course they push the boundaries. Which is what keeps us engrossed & yet I really don't think it's as bad as some ppl have made it out 2 b. It's funny because most viewers get the reference about Beth -( either Beth, at the moment - thier both as bad as each other!) being a narcissistic & add that to her loving but still unfulfilling marriage 2 Jerry & it was probably bound to happen since Space Beth has came back on the scene. What we did learn from it all is that no matter what- both Beth's in a way really still love Jerry. Obviously with 1 being there for basically that sole purpose, that seems obvious. But the fact that Spath Beth really let Jerry get involved & backed down a bit. I thought was really sweet. I think Rick and the Beth's love for Jerry has grown over the past few seasons. Because no matter how feeble & dorky Jerry comes across he really has proved himself a hero again & again. I'm saying this as someone who really did think Jerry was hopeless. Whereas now I love the fact that there really blending all the family characters into this season. Even the joke at the end about Jerry trying to 'find himself ' & have that weird little gentlemanly kiss had me in stitches! Venus is a Roman goddess who was "identified by the Romans with the Greek goddess of love, Aphrodite," according to Encyclopedia Britannica. Potentially the Venusian wine is a love potion. Rick destroying the remote and thus removing access to the wine implies Rick believed it was the wine which amplified Space Beth and Beth's affection for each other, leading to them falling in love.

Either space beth is the real one or they’re both clones and the real Beth is gone.
Not even Rick knows. The point is they are both identical Beths. So there isn't any difference who is a clone and who is original.

Yeah I agree with u guys that this is more like old skool Rick & Morty without it goin 2 far! So many ppl have said it's too awkward. But I actually think it's hilarious. Similar to the one with Morty & the horse machine! Yeah of course they push the boundaries. Which is what keeps us engrossed & yet I really don't think it's as bad as some ppl have made it out 2 b.
It's funny because most viewers get the reference about Beth -( either Beth, at the moment - thier both as bad as each other!) being a narcissistic & add that to her loving but still unfulfilling marriage 2 Jerry & it was probably bound to happen since Space Beth has came back on the scene.
What we did learn from it all is that no matter what- both Beth's in a way really still love Jerry. Obviously with 1 being there for basically that sole purpose, that seems obvious. But the fact that Spath Beth really let Jerry get involved & backed down a bit. I thought was really sweet. I think Rick and the Beth's love for Jerry has grown over the past few seasons. Because no matter how feeble & dorky Jerry comes across he really has proved himself a hero again & again. I'm saying this as someone who really did think Jerry was hopeless. Whereas now I love the fact that there really blending all the family characters into this season.
Even the joke at the end about Jerry trying to 'find himself ' & have that weird little gentlemanly kiss had me in stitches! Because u could picture Jerry trying 2 do the wildest thing of his life, then he gets the chance & it's a quick peck on the lips & a handshake! Lmao - this was how the Brits taught sex education in boarding schools up until 1999! 🤣🤣😂 I'm kidding but it was prob similar, except opposite sex partners! 🤣🤣😂🙌👏
