The red shades may look more sheer because they don’t have the milky undertones. Those shades may have more titanium or zinc oxide which would make them more opaque. I like Witty. But what is best is the case. The case tells you the color inside which I love. I hate fumbling through my lipsticks trying to find the shade I want when I have numerous lipsticks of the same brand in identical cases. I can’t read the tiny print on the label. This makes grabbing the right shade easy.

First thing, Im loving he packaging of these lipsticks - so sleek and color coordinating. Thanks for the swatches, all shades look very nice on you even the red ones. My favourites would be witty and lippie, i hope they come up with more nude and brown shades in the range - brights and darks are just not for me. Are these matte finish or more like mousse formula?

Don't waste your money - buy the NYX Lingerie XXL instead - much longer lasting and I don't even need a lip liner with it (but a matte which is really what the Maybelline is anyway). The vinyl on Maybelline really doesn't last more than a minute. I found it bled terribly over my lip liner. Very unimpressed with this new Maybelline.
