For me this formula definitely takes some thought to get it to last all day! Today I put it on clean, dry lips first before the rest of my makeup. By the time I was done the lipstick was set well enough that I could drink coffee without it getting on the mug. After that it lasted right through lunch & dinner! It definitely takes a while to set
I'd also add that you are supposed to shake them well before applying bc the pigment can settle (says it on the labelling). Which is not something I ever think to do with other liquid formulas!
I agree they take a while to dry down and that's such a HUGE downfall. If you do want to make the effort, I suggest applying a REALLY thin layer with minimal swiping, then letting it dry and then applying another thin layer. While it dries, keep your lips agape and do not let your lips touch at any point of the process (no rubbing lips). Tedious I know, but this is the only way for me to make it last all day without smudging or transferring as much. Mahalo for the helpful video. We were eating all kind of food in Italy including oily and greasy… and my Fire Red 25 lip gloss lasted for 12 hours! I hope the new shades have the same formula. And yes, I strongly recommend to shake it before applying.

I find that it has a more satiny-shine finish unlike most long-wearing or matte lipsticks! You are supposed to shake them really well for about 30 seconds before applying for the gloss component to work. I wore one I just got, Lippy or shade 100, and I ate dinner (fish and chips with shrimp) and although some of the shine was gone, the color was still great! It also didn't transfer to my water glass and barely any to my napkin at the end of dinner.
It didn't last both times I tried it. I got royal and then eventually the fearless which was the burgundy brown. It came off near the corners of my mouth and created a line on the inside. I think any super stay lip product is for people with thin lips. My lips are very full. Especially my bottom lip. Plus, there was no lasting shine in the product.

I will say that though these stay a bit tacky on the lips they aren’t matte or drying. They are long wearing and I really like the formula!
