I don't pre-order video games, just on principle. But I will probably pre-order this one just to show that extra bit of support for how badly I've wanted to see a game like this for so long. It would be amazing if we got a whole series of survival based games around this concept. Great video, sums up pretty well why many of us are so excited about this.
And that's exactly why we all have to buy this game at day 1 release to show our support. Hopefully a DC remake will be announced shortly after that i can't imagine capcom to remain without a reaction on this
If this game is canon, then it will take place at the same time as Jurassic Park: The Game, which is soft canon, and that also takes place a day later than the movie. So the protagonists of the 2 games were both on Isla Nublar at the same time, but in different places, but still close to each other
It's very interesting. The survivors left behind other than Maya Joshi is Gerry Harding (the guy who cared for the sick triceratops in the movie), his youngest daughter Jessica (The half-sister of Sarah Harding from The Lost World Jurassic Park) and a couple other Ingen scientists. Also, Mt. Sibo, the volcanic mountain that will destroy the island in Fallen Kingdom appeared in that game four years before Jurassic World released in theaters!
I was actually thinking about that game as well. Telltale was always one of my favourite studios, and Jurassic Park: The Game was really cool as a concept.

I'm skeptical not because it doesn't look good but because I'm hoping this isn't a "tease the audience then radio silence" then we here it got scrapped because of payment disputes or some executive didn't get his bonus or whatever but I'm hoping this comes out and it's good!
Waited decades for this. One was cancelled for 2001 JP3. Today it is coming for PS5 2024. How amazing ❤️ there is going to be some intense content and the collectors edition is going to be badass!
I will support this game 100%. Usually I don't like buying games at full price but for this one I'll make an exception because it IS the game I have always wanted for the Jurassic Park's franchise. P.S. possibly they can also release a DLC (or more) for the game where you can play chapters from the original movie into the shoes of Alan Grant and/or Ellie Sattler and/or Arnold and/or Muldoon. Just like it happened with "Alien Isolation".
Imagine an open world jp3 survivor game that plays like the forest or something similar where you play as eric Kirby during the 8 weeks he was on the island alone.
That's the first wich came to my mind when i thought how to survive as a person on the island for long. I think the aim of the game will be mybe to call for help or ti make your way to the docks. Hopefully with a deep an well narated storyline
I’ve been saying for a while now that even though park builders _are_ perfectly fine & dandy IMHO, the “Jurassic” franchise (in the gaming realm) can be so much *more* than that. So I’m _glad_ that *this* happening (😁)!
I'm super excited for this game! I prefer a more story driven plot in my video games. more importantly though I wish you well with whatever personal thing you're dealing with. I hope it turns out ok!
this game is exiting and personally I don't like the idea of shooting and killing these amazing creatures and the ability to easily kill these powerful creatures also removes some fear of surviving a trex
As a Jurassic Park fan, I'll be waiting to see the quality of the game. I doubt I'm going to enjoy it from what I have seen so far so they got a lot of persuading to do and that needs in game footage because some flashy advert isn't going to get me to buy the game.

And yeah I can see a possible sequel like what you pitched with a lost world aesthetic look and feel to it maybe giving more lost world JP vibes in the games sequel avoiding and running from the trex buck and doe and even the tiger striped raptors and as for potential appearances from carnotaurus and yes they will be able to camouflage like from the 2nd novel and allosaurus and depending on the time place it takes place maybe seeing a possible cameo or what have you of a young spinosaurus and maybe having junior be like a juvenile again depends on when this possible sequel takes place or like a time jump to make it where he is a juvenile... Or if you want to do more of a shock value have it be set during the events of Jurassic Park 3 era and basically have her character or a new character depends... Basically come off as a Marty mcfly from back the future part 2 in a sense of being there but the main characters from the film not seeing said character if you know where this is going for junior the T-Rex hold on in getting there like maybe yeah they could retcon that yeah junior was the trex that got killed by the spino sure it's controversial but hey would make good shock factor for the fans and would give more closure to show what happened to the baby from the lost world JP and why we didn't see said dino with its family in Dominion oh god that subtitle... Also I hope you're doing ok swrve with whatever it is that is non of my business again stay strong man you got this king... I am very interested in this Jurassic Park survival game it looks promising I would considered soft canon to the Jurassic franchise until we get confirmation otherwise.
I hope the game will have a fully open map to explore with a day and night cycle. I don't want it to be like Dead Island, where you only explore small open sections with loading screens in between areas. If that makes sense.

This game could be epic if the devs decided to give us character creation to be honest & that this character was made only for trailer purpose even though we saw that character in the gameplay within the trailer and i really wish that it's 3rd-person over the shoulder view rather just looking at arms & hands to be honest.
I cannot wait to play thia. There is a dino game that I love in VR called Robinson the Journey which has some awesome raptor encounters .. It is an older game but the VR is excellent and I still play it to this day .. wish they had come out with a sequel DLC .. I really liked the baby r rex we got to hang out with Laika.
I personaly still consider Jurassic Park: The Game as canon, because we actualy did not recieve any proof that it is not. Hear me out. Yes, Lewis Dodgson found that canister on sandy path in Dilo territory so it is easy to say that JP:TG is not canon because of its finale when Roberta the T-Rex stomped on that can, but, do not forget that we never saw it actualy crushed. The can could just fit between her fingers, just like that guy in 1998 Godzilla movie. And since Dodgson found that can on absolutely differently looking place than where Nedry dropped it, according to JW:CC Season 5, what if the can just remained intact on that ferry pier and some curious Dilo or other dino just liked it, grabbed it like magpies do and carried it to its territory/the place where Dodgson found it? 25 years is quite a long time period so it is no wonder that the can did not stay in one place (the ferry pier) for the whole time. So, as I said, for me there is no proof that JP:TG is not canon 😊
Look, I am very looking forward to this game, but I don't get people yelling this is something unprecedented or something along those lines. A couple years ago we got Jurassic World Aftermath, which is essentially Survival but in a JW setting when you think about it and I also remember them saying that game was canon as well like they are implying now with Survival, although I doubt it.

Anyone got any idea what kind of age rating this is going to end up being? Everyone calling it a ‘survival horror’ and I’ve seen a few comparing it to Alien Isolation. Would be amazing if it gave us a seriously scary/tense/graphic game but I can’t see them making it any higher than a 16 especially given its description as an adventure action game. Slightly disappointing but still extremely excited for it

Yeah I imagine it won't be a shooter thats a big no no in the Jurassic franchise as a whole i mean sure it accrues in the Jurassic saga sure but rarely did dinos get shot besides blue from fallen kingdom and the Lego stuff... It makes sense to not have guns at first. But eventually there needs to be some type of access to guns. We have to able to defend ourselves lol. They're frickin killing machines 😂😂😂. With the option of "stealth" i guess. But yeah we need some kind of weapon. At least the taser stick or something. And guns would absolutely be somewhere as a safety precaution lol. Just saying
It's not going to be a horror game watch it'll be more action adventure it'll be suspenseful our actions in the game will be without consequence/risks and you're failure and mistakes made won't linger with you throughout the game impacting you're chance of survival and that's foolish would you shoot a grizzly if it attacks you yes you would and that's a real animal firstly dinosaurs don't exist secondly they're man made atrocities universal is stupid

i hate to say this... but i'm afraid it might be woke. i'm REALLY hoping not, but my woke sense is tingling. the protagonist is a woman of color, and i've noticed that when a woman of color is cast as a protagonist any time post 2015, the media usually features "the message." I'm just really hoping this is a game about surviving a night on Isla Nublar, and not about surviving a night on Isla Nublar and fighting the patriarchy.
