YES, kind of like how they did with some of the stages in the Genesis games! I'm pretty sure the Burning River at the end of Grant's campaign in Rampage Edition was supposed to be exactly that!

Saber actually did it insanely good job with the Evil Dead game, including a ton of really great Easter eggs and art direction that went along with an even expanded on the original IP. I think they will do a great job with Jurassic Park, especially since it is not a live service game

I think we'll see the story start off exactly when Nedry cuts off the power, at least for exposition. We'll get a typical Jurassic Park opening, followed by a fade-in of Maya in the lab doing research, then she takes off her PPE and then the power goes out. This story is supposed to take place 1 day after the events of the movie, which means there's a day and a half between the power going out and the start of the game in which we don't know what happens to her. I hope they don't take the lazy way out, having her narrate "2 days ago, the power went out and the exhibits got loose. I've been running and hiding ever since..." Hopefully there's actual interesting events to revisit, security camera footage, flashbacks, character interactions, etm.
I think it would be something similar to Jurassic park the game where she would be on a field research and she hides for the storm inside a outpost or something and she misses everything about the event on Jurassic park

Considering those guys are always in lab , they would have evacuated together and even if left behind then the entire crew or someone else would have been there . Moreover Maya Joshi in the trailer is dressed up as a field veteran rather than a lab scientist.
They better have a game cutscene showing Joshi as that background character you pointed out, maybe show her view of when the main cast go through the tour ride
I would say if this game is canon let's say if in the game she mentions that she was working in Dr.wu's lab right where Hammond Grant sattler and Malcolm and the Attorney I forgot his name where at the egg lab but that's more of a guess than a theory.

Maya Joshi might be a Bio Syn spy, she might be Dodgeson's key to getting the cannister much like Nima was in the Telltale series, whatever that amounts too is welllll i dunno yet, but imagine she lives until the end of the game and hands Dodgeson the cannister and then he considers her a loose end and has her executed, devoured by the dimetredons he has in Dominion? Maybe he developed those earlier? (I haven't seen Dominion to know when he actually developed those animals)

Which speaking of Lego Jurassic world the series on Nickelodeon... I was hoping for JW Dominion oh god that subtitle that they were gonna implement like the whole red the dog with Owen team up in that series along with blue and beta storyline in that I mean why else would you introduce the dog in said series and not show it in the next film but again I know I know these series are not even canon but the whole red the dog was a nice addition to that series sure coming off even at times like the dog and baby from son of the mask like a anime female being like notice me senpai notion but yeah...
