I can't say I was surprised by Universal's level of celebration of Jurassic Park. But we've seen that they've always been very cold on their greatest franchise since 2001. Honestly, as a fan, I recommend celebrating the films in your own way with as much fanfare as you want to share.
Jurassic park survival looks low bar and as someone who is so thirsty for a non Jurassic world game, it’s pretty clear the game is being overhyped since we know how modern games come out
What’s really sad is that there was going to be an encyclopedia of the entire film canon of the Jurassic Park series, but was cancelled because Universal hasn’t approved it

Apart from folks and fans online, no one knew it was the 30th anniversary….it just went by. The 4K re-release limited edition was bad and definitely needed a revamp with better art and better special elements (art cards e.g.)
Here in Brazil we had a special partnership between Burger King and Jurassic Park around Early October, with some food items like "Dilo Sundae, Brachiosarus Burger, T-Rex Burger and Dino Nuggets" as well as a "toy" which was a big Egg that you could open in the middle to put things inside, I was surprised that apparently this only happened here, sever BK locations were heavily decorated with JP, becoming popular tourist locations during the "two month" event. The 30th anniversary was a letdown honestly, us fans (at least here) we tried to make the most out of it between us, but it wasn't as "big" as it should have been
In Atlanta, Georgia, USA, there was a Jurassic World Exhibition where you can see animatronic dinosaurs in their habitats and cages like at a theme park. Lol up that video on TH-cam.
Why does NO ONE acknowledge the 30 Anniversary Toys? The Reel feel Red Rex is AWESOME, the Gallimimus looked pretty, the Scutosaurus was a must have (for me at least), the By Raptor and Trike were ADORBS, and oh yeah, We finally got a Dilophosaur WITHOUT THE STUPID FRILL GETTING IN THE WAY.

Happy New Year swrve I would say the 30th anniversary was a bit of a letdown except I know it wasn't a part of it but the announcement of both chaos theory and Jurassic Park survival was the only things that I was excited about.
I really wanted to take my nephew to see Jurassic Park in theaters, but there was no info I could find whenever I looked. Until I randomly looked in late September to find one showing left, in one theater in the state, on work/school night. There were some showings I could have made had I known 😔 I don't care for park builders or horror/survival, so Chaos Theory announcement was the one thing I got from this year. 30th anniversary was definitely a disappointment for me
In honesty I didn’t really care about the anniversary as I’m not interested in merchandise. The only good thing for me was were the announcements of new projects like Jurassic Park survival. I guess that’s what universal meant by “big way. Though it wasn’t big very lol😂.

While I agree that much wasn’t done I do have to say the start wasn’t until the June. I have a feeling they are going with a possible fiscal year? Or from the start of when it actually came out. We have the new releases this year or something. Universal had some set ups for photos such as scenes that are not normally there like the kitchen scene. So I have a feeling some other stuff was meant to come
I concur (👍); _NOT_ a complete, total “dumpster fire” IMHO, but rather a _disappointment_ regarding how Universal handled it. On the _plus_ side, though, we *do* at least have “Chaos Theory” and “JP: Survival” to look forward to (😊).

If you had gone later or I had gone earlier, we may have actually met eachother in the shop itself of all places. I have to say the shop itself was astounding and im very greatful to have gotten the chance to go there. As for the 30th anniversary, im not suprised, they ( Universal ) have had such a minimum effort, maximum profit attitude even to the point of lying to fans just to get them hyped for nothing, it’s not the first time. This is the kind of thing that has me concerned for the future, Jurassic is a franchise like no other and deserves passion and care. When it was the 30th anniversary of jurassic park all it did was give us decoration items for jwe2 instead of like the dlc novel of jurassic park, we'd still get Microceratus, species and skin variants from the novel of jurassic park because that would of been a real way to celebrate jurassic park instead of boring decoration items in jwe2
This is why i dont believe everything i am told they never keep their word i dont think Universal is taking the franchise seriously anymore no thanks to that strike that went on awhile back

They could at least have released a bluray or dvd box set with all the seasons of Camp Cretaceous. We are still missing the last two seasons and the other ones came out so much time ago already.
I wouldnt say it was a failure just not the best anniversary, anyways what comes first is Brackets and Order than Division and Multiplication than Addition and Substraction or for short BODMAS however if you see a question like 8 ÷ 2 x 4 than go from left to right meaning you divide 8 by 2 which is 4 than times it by 4 which is 16 however dont start from the times as than it would be 2 times 4 which is 8 than divide it by 8 which would be 1 and that is wrong as the official rule is left to right
Even the legacy collection was a letdown, i now it would have been a licensing nightmare for sure but the fact that warpath, ps1 the lost world, arcade games and operation genesis were left out of the collection was terrible
Honestly it was pretty bad. Mattel tried to push a $250 set doomed to fail. Evolution 2 should have done a book mission set DLC and Return to Evolution. Movies should have done Rerelease with Extended Versions plus all of Camp Cretaceous in a boxed set with Big Rock and Prolouge.
We Also got a 30th Anniversary Jurassic Park Transformers Crossover set from Hasbro again. The set included the JP Jeep and the Dilo. I guarantee you that poll info was given to Execs and that's why it's been used as a toy and in the trailer for JP Survival. Now we're gonna see nothing but Dilophosaurus in JP promos
Nobody really seems to care about this kind of thing these days. When star wars turned 40 i told a few people about it, each and every one of them said, "So what?" I told someone about this turning 30. I didn't even get a reaction. No response. I did a video on it. Two views. No comments.
If you think Dominion “ruined” the franchise…you really don’t see it nor appreciate what it set out to do. If anything, it saved this franchise and gave it new legs
I noticed alot of Jurassic Park/World commentators, idk about yourself Swerve but aren't really big fans of prehistoric cenozoic mammals and other animals of that time being introduced to the series but will be awesome to see a mammoth or smilodon in Jurassic World evolution 2 or even in the toy line especially the Smilodon which is the only one that hasn't got a toy figure of all the Jurassic World camp cretaceous figures which imo is truly disappointing since it has a ark stretching back simce the first Jurassic Park film with its easter egg plush showing up
What was disappointing for last year were the future of more Jurassic Movies, and when will Jurassic World Exhibition will come to Nashville so I can live my very own Jurassic Adventure so I can write my very own Jurassic World Jonataurus trilogy along with my very own Star Wars story too

Im grateful for the classic games collection but it barrly made it into 2023. Why would it take that long to put out 30 yr old games digitally? To me thats the only thing that happened for the 30th. And a few games were omitted and will most likely never see the light of day ever again.

Jurassic park survival was just a game reveal. We didn’t get a proper new game or movie this year making this a underwhelming year for the franchise.

We also got a shit ton of dlc for JP:E2 and ALOT of new Dino’s and events added to Jurassic park alive.

i will say i did enjoy the 30th anniversary store at universal studios at orlando. it was a nice experance to walk though and see all the props
