Thank you that's how you do a review less blah blah blah and more action. Thank you. My last Camry had a V6 3.5. I sold it with almost 500,000 miles and never did anything but maintenance never touched the transmission oil the thing just would not stop running. It was a 2007 2022.
I bought it because it's a hybrid. Our car only gets driven on weekends and such. Our last car was a 2004 with 100k miles. If this last 20 years it could be the last car I drive before they come for my key fob. I got the black interior.
Question: if the car gets driven relatively rarely, doesn't that imply the hybrid is less worth it? I.e. depreciation and insurance are relatively more expensive than gas when the car gets used less.
Good question. I will be retiring in a couple of years. I will no longer have access to a company vehicle. The hybrid should serve us well as we plan on using it quite a bit at that point. Quite a bit. As far as insurance. It went up $29 every 6 months. Regardless of all that. After having it for a little while now. I think I prefer the way it drives. Especially when in heavy traffic. Or traffic light to light City driving.

I’d say the interior actually looks really good. I just wish Toyota had fully redesigned Camry since they ain’t gonna be releasing new redesign until 2031 (predicted years since the last gen Camry has looked the same since 2018!). It’s such a shame that they decided give it a really cool BBL at the front and the literally change nothing about the sides and put Honda accord’s tail light in the back. Should’ve and full redesign just like Prius went through. It would’ve boosted up sales all the way up to over 300k unites since their sales have been decreasing since 2021. (Still high but low compared to previous years). Oh and not to mention, this car is louder than its previous year model lol. Look up car confections sound reading where they test it at 55 mph.
That 2025 Toyota Camry sounds like crap with that CVT transmission. It’s so sad how fast Toyota can destroy themselves. I would have to buy the Lexus ES with the V6 engine before Toyota destroys the ES
@@koaladoeseverything Ironically, its kind of the opposite for Toyota eCVTs. You actually do get up to speed fast because there isn't faux shifting like there is in Nissan CVTs, for instance. If you look at 0-60 times many Toyota hybrids are faster than their non-hybrid counterparts (Ex: RAV4 gas vs. hybrid).
