I dont blame you, I too have put insane hours into the demo. Gets me nostalgic for old school MMOs. And the character designs are genuinely really good.
I don't think that large 'assets' detract from a design being cute, and I would totally expect a skilled pr0n artist to make these types of designs appealing to anyone. It also helps that they are a damn fine game developer too because I have put a few dozen hours into this demo and I am stoked for proper multiplayer intergration
Y'know it's a possibility the bell tower from majora and the bell of this game are the same sound, lots of games use stock sounds they license and then carefully edit, not every sound on any medias sound track etc are in house sound, lots of a stock audio clips and stuff get used and edited to fit needs or feel, that's why stuff like the classic wilhelm scream are so common in media and stuff, because it's a stock audio asset that's cheap and easy to get and its easier than recording your voice actors or regular actors screams over and over till you get one that "feels just right", so you could be right that it's the latter half of the bell sound pitched down, they could just both be using the same stock bell assets
I felt defeating lord Zuulneruda like slaying darksouls boss, because i only really spent my points in main stat and my max HP was lower than 30, so i was dodging like crazy. I was level 9 or 8 at the moment, and felt like mage is the easiest way to do it due to the bell.
I played in a older build and i whonder where the gigant boob goddes be re used? I hate some enemies, that the attack animation's go from fast to skiping it. So some time's there just hitting you from so far where they shud not be hit you.

Alote of the time its gonna mostly the attack's that you don't se that's gonna get you killed.
there is online but they just ran out of keys for it not too long ago
its going Early Access on steam in 10 days. the online will be available then.
