I love how big a game boneworks really is. Half the places you went to in this run i’ve literally never seen before, and even with maximum pace, planning and knowledge of where everything is and how to do get completion, and it still takes almost three hours! I binged this entire thing in one sitting and i have no regrets. Awesome channel, awesome run, awesome game 👍
@@PushyPixels yeah, i've tried the second patch update, it's for sure really nice, but the boneworks story mode just hits differently in my opinion, it's more nostalgic, the movements feel faster and the story mode of boneworks is so much longer, i mean it took like a year to get a 30 minute speedrun for boneworks now it's been not even a month and 30 minute speedruns for bonelab are rolling out, like yea of course bonelab is better in basically every way besides story, but the only thing i do most of the time is play the story, i also feel that the boneworks story has more replayability (i'm not trying to argue, just saying my opinion, and i'm also bored so that why this message is so long lmao)
@@ideologii Okay good. I really love what they did with Bridge on that latest patch. I basically flip between story modes on both games, I'm the same, that's what I play. I've put 170 hours into Boneworks and about 40 hours so far into BoneLab. I think I like BoneLab more overall now but I gotta say there was some deep archeology in the first game, stuff that was real subtle and real fun to discover. (Also I of course miss the Ford boys.) Not trying to argue either just like talking about the series.

i have been using the same old broking quest 2 with insane stick drift sincce march of 2021 and i have found out ways to make it playable also one of the button keep been registered as if it is pressed constantly💀
Don’t know how to feel about the collection systems in Boneworks and BoneLab, on one hand, BoneLab has no RNG and with patch 3 they’re destructible, but you have to find their capsule, whereas Boneworks you just have to find them in a level, and you can get them in various levels
hey @sychke whats your boneworks height set to that you do the super jumps so easily, im on the quest 2 and got BW cause of all your speedruns on 100% and really like the game just wanna get better with the mechanics of it. If you or anyone got any advice for a newb runner lmk i wanna practice BW 100% runs etc etc etc!! Good luck on any runs you do sir!!!
I and most other runners play with the height calibrated 1:1, hitting auto-adjust every once in a while to account for tracking deviation. It's just a thing that you have to get used to; timing of irl jumps, in game jumps, and occasionally slow motion for maximum height. I have a NewGame+ run with an input viewer and a webcam that can maybe help you get a better idea of how I do it, but some runners have different ways of doing it. We also have a Discord server where you can get more in depth answers discord.gg/MW2zUcV2Fv.
Sum of best is actually a 2:41:18. Missing a lot of big golds/stupid major time loss all over.

I believe that Boneworks was more directed towards the campaign while Bonelab was directed towards more of the modding and what people would make.
