Don't know who dreamed this one up but I hope you can dream up a lot more. Brilliant.
my guess is that he smoked some really wierd and expired shit. sopmething even our politiens wouldn't dare try
@@Netscape-kd6mg All while reading Douglas Adams full creations with Monty Python playing in the background.
And seasoned with a bit of Catch-22 and Red Dwarf.
This one story is quite possibly the best short sci-fi story I've listened to - in years! And I've listened to a very large quantity of unmitigated garbage, with pretentions!
Absolutely brilliant!!! And thanks for all the fish!
And to think I found this video on a Thursday!
This is very "Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy"...I like!
By that you mean a total Rip off and plagiarism off HHG
@@Realitygetreal No. More like has a very Douglas Adams vibe to it.
@@Realitygetreal But well done, even if it was AI generated. It captures the spirit.
Ot had me when they said, 'It runs on Bull Sh*t
This ship runs specifically on snark energy; this sounds like something Seth McFarland would crank out in a tv series!😂😂😂😂
Now this is a little gem that I didn't know that I needed.
Loved the very "Hitchhikers guide to the Galxy" commentary😅😅😅
Ooo its an eve reference
With a Touch of Red Dwarf (but mostly HGTTG)
Yes, my favorite so far
Don't forget the Mad Hatter's tea party.
23:10 Because, as Douglas Adams taught us, "you're never alone with a rubber duck."
To think, without him we wouldn't have stories like this to grace the airwaves...
Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy on steroides. Love it. If I die tonight I will be happy.
Thought the same xD Improbability is the best fuel
Hitchhikers Guide meets aspiring 7th grade aspiring actors using “yes, and?” technique - explaining to 3rd graders - what their older college grade aerospace engineer sibling sounds like at Thanksgiving dinner.
Douglas Adams would be proud of you. Thanks.
My thoughts exactly.
What's one more impossibility before breakfast?
I would love to hear more stories about the HMS Paperweight and it's crew!!!!!!
Don't Panic! Douglas Adams would be pleased, probably wrote this next week.
This is what writing half asleep and reading ithe next day feels like but I love this.
I don't remember when i laughed that hard from a reddit HFY story. That is absolutely art!!
Same here. I actually started coughing like four times just from sheer over laughing.
Well done!! That was awesome and absolutely fugging hilarious!! Your influences show well, and your playful banter works also! Thanks again!!
Shades of Douglas Adam's. Loved it. Now write a book or better yet a movie script.
But don't let Disney anywhere NEAR the script!
Absolutely the best, hands down human space adventure, I've heard or seen. I've watched movie and series for over 50 years. feels right at home, Thanks to the Universe for this, even I never hear another similar story😂😅😊😊, this one I can't ever forget.
Would have been great if they made more ships like this
yeah like one universebending paradox is not enought. lets give a toddler acecss to teh nuke launch button and hope he doesn't press it
@@Netscape-kd6mg The crew of the HMS improbable sat around the quantum dinner table drinking coffee that never ran out were discussing the rest of the human slower than light fleet. "it's a good thing that all human ships aren't just like this one" Rodriguez said absently...
am driving one.
They shouldn't try to screw humanity over without first reading J.R.R. Tolkien and Douglass Addams.
"The Two Towers Thank You For All The Fried Fish."
The underlying message of human resilience and creativity is both inspiring and cleverly woven into the humor.
Okay, the script itself saves it from the normal A.I garbage.
Chen is now an engineer what a career shes had diplomat, captain, admiral 🤣
Now THAT was a unique tale.!!😯😧😮🙄
40years ago, give or take, there was a cartoon in newspaper and the like, that created a sub series titled " Sarcastic Anonymous " .😬😬😳😲
I personally could not get enough of the banter .
I believe that the sarcasm and puns lost me no less than 45friends, like they WERE my friends.!!
Doonsbery was I believe, the name of the cartoon. Look for it if you DARE !!!😁😂😅🤓🤗😎
👍👍😣😖😵👽🖖👽🖖
On Tuesday Maya wanted to try to test the internal reality impossibility field, building a Schrodinger's cat experiment using a ginger tomcat. The next day after eating Tuesday's breakfast for the 3rd day in a row she opened the box to see what the results were she was not surprised to find a dead black and white cat that was purring and the ginger tom she had started with, she muttered to herself "I wish I could ask you what happened" the tomcat for it's part took it's hat off and replied in perfect Klingon " well stuff happened. Then it was Tuesday again".
I haven't laughed so hard since reading Douglas Adams Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy , Thank you so much more please from the improbability drive, oh yes & so long & thank you for all the fish. Make sure you carry a towel with you just in case.
The improbability drive was just the core starting point, the ship is the idea taken to it's illogical conclusion and extrapolated to it's inverse ridiculousness lol
@@RiversJ Stop it! You're gonna make me die laughing!
This one was great. I laughed so hard 🤣 😂 😭 😅😅😅. A 30 minute sarcastic joke! Fantastic!
So the prototype of the heart of gold.
No it’s the Market version that came first
@@gryphonprovenzano3156 Time is funny like that...
with the powers of the Q continuum and the attitude of 'thing 1'and 'thing 2' from "the cat in the hat."
I am not sure what I just watched or how it was recommended to me, but this was the best 30 minutes of media I have listened to in a long time.
"did we just break a black hole?" "yes" so glad I found this channel. Didn't know I needed it in my life, then it appeared like a morning coffee and toasted sandwich.
Improbably entertaining. Loved it and thank you. Probably.
I couldn't stop laughing.. Pure Douglas Adams. The Galaxy is a big place, don't forget your towel and Guide on your improbability trip.
Do you have thing against Tuesdays?
"It must Thursday. I never could get the hang of Thursdays."
@Dranok1 that comes from Buffy the vampire slayer i believe.
@RonMayer-xj9oe 🤦
Not even close. Not the right continent or time period or medium or context or genre! The only thing related is that it is comedy (mostly). 🤡
It is Arthur Dent, in the first episode of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, as his bruised and discombobulated psyche tries to make sense of the rapidly revealed facts that his closest friend of 15 years, Ford Prefect, isn't from Guildford after all, but actually from a small planet near Alpha Centauri, and that a Vogon construction fleet has just announced that they are about to demolish his precious home planet the make way for a new hyperspace bypass as this solar system happens to be in the way...
Refreshing and wonderful! Thank you
What a wonderful spin on the Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy!
Can we please have this animated? / A HMS paperweight series
Someone has to get this made into an animated TV series, I'm crying with laughter, I can bearly trpe this.
If not the above tv series, then at least 10 more YT videos like this one, the narrator was brilliant.
22:30 "we're slacking" I would add here "let's do absolutely nothing instead, because it really is impossible for them to accidentally shoot each other, right?"
The hilarity of my existence pointed itself out, yet once again
Best literary work since Tolkien
Fantastic entertaining comical space story .. need more of these fun things.
Any mathematician worth their salt will prove you can divide by zero.
It's as if the spirit of Douglas Adams was still with us.
The Ghost of Douglas Adams has joined the chat.
This just made my year... Thank you 👌🐺
Murphy. My *favorite* Irish optimist.
Unbelievably enjoyable!! Loving it!!
This story legitimately brought tears to my eyes I was laughing so hard😂😂😂
Love it. 😂 Whoever wrote this deserves an irony/sarcasm award.❤😅
Your energy is truly remarkable!
But can it make a cup of tea? I love this story.
Terrific.. I couldn't stop listening to the end.
This screams Douglas Adams!!!!!! Amazingly done!
A most excellent romp through absurdity! I would love to see more stories like this!
Absolutely the best yet, cracked up big time. LOL
Love it! More like this please.
A ship that runs off "Hold my beer; Watch this"?!
Yup ;)
Florida Man….the perfect captain for this ship.
Great story , thanks
Awesome. Enjoy the video.Thank you
That was a fabulous story.
It would be impossible to turn into a TV series, but it is a great story.
Douglas Adams meets Terry Pratchett. Well done.
This is by far my favorite story yet so wacky and so well made 😂
That was fantastic more please
Lol.
Even the Coalition's representative couldn't keep their name straight 😁
THIS SCHOULD BE A WEEKLY STORY ABOUT THE HYMS PAPERWEIGHT
This is awesome. What brilliant mind cocked this one up? I doubt there is anywhere more of this stuff?
I laughed so hard when I watched it that I had to run to the toilet at least 6 times in 30 minutes xD Honestly, the video is just awesome
Douglas Adams nods approvingly.
Perhaps it is a reflection of my personality, but this takes undisputed first place in these type presentations : )! It will take monumental effort to surpass this story. Congratulations my Friends!!
I laughed so much, my type of physics… bend them to your will… why not… and if that doesn’t work, it will… just… because it will. 🤪😂
Only humans could be so utterly absurd as to warp reality itself.
Sheer genius! The product of a truly twisted intellect!
That was excellent!
I love when the story reads like AI just saw a book of LSD stamps, and decided it'd be pretty to decorate it's tongue with them 😂
Great story guys and humour too can’t go wrong with that
Hold my towel and watch this...
I rather enjoyed that. Thank you.
i wanna know how many times you broke reading this utter beauty
This one is GOOD!
Well done, nailed the hitchhikers vibe
Brilliant and fun, very reminiscent of Robert Asprin 😂
❤ omg! Utter insanity!... I love it!
Got some good giggles out of it...😸😸
I'm surprised Zaphod Breeblebrox and Arthur Philip Dent weren't part of the ship's launch crew
"Red Dwarf" meets "Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy.".
Was best yet.
The laws of physics filing a formal complaint..... thats funny.
Utterly my sense of humour. Genius 😂
Fantastic!
I'd call it a Pratchett drive.
Chen strikes again!!
I love this one!
Ship's name should be "Heart of gold" ...
I am dying over here 😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A very fun story !!!!
Humanity given a ship that runs on Warhammer 40k Ork logic 😂
"doing the impossible wal complaining about it" ..... i have had this job... "how the hell did you get that d8 dozer running, its been in that barn for over twice as long as you have been alive without moving"... LOL...
It's still Tuesday!
