With the right amount/type of support, any archetype can jump leagues ahead in my opinion! Iconic example is Spyral before and after Spyral Double Helix's debut. I think for D/D/D to become metal viable, it would have to receive that level of support, something that can not only push it's current strategy but cover up it's weaknesses as well. Honestly, might make a discussion video on that sometime soon cause I got a couple things in mind, would be really interesting to hear everyone's opinion!
@@AlphaYGO Yeah I always thought that a searcher which could add 1 and then bin 1 d/d/d monster with the same level and ha a gy effect that let you shuffle itself + 2 banished/ gy d/d cards to draw 1 would push it into meta. Kinda like how souls even tho being 1 card, it just did 3 jobs for spyral, this would do 3 for d/d/d
@@OutbackYGO or a monster that could summon a d/d from deck, then you could summon rage, but I think it would turn into a really powerful engine and other decks would start abusing it
