I think it’s because people’s eyes are more drawn to multiple values close to each other, the eye has has more colors and details, unlike the light on the hair which is mostly just plain white with some detail? Or the amount of contrast from the light side and dark side, the dark side takes up more of the painting? Ig it could also be that the hair and elements around him is subtly pointing and circling towards his face

The flashing black screen at the intervention part here 0:35 can actually cause an epileptic seizure. It also just hurts to look at. I would suggest flashing just the message box over the previous screen and leaving the black background behind.

i absolutely adore this painting, really helpful (at least for me) if you want to understand light and details oor have an example to follow... i struggle with making things interesting and this (after slowing it down to 0.5 HAHA) helped me understand.... i genuinely love this a lot, the way you used the colors are very interesting, its notable the different hues/colors but still keeping it all together!! amazing work keep it up!!🙌🙌 id also like to ask what pen is that "plastic wrap" that you use? ive been searching for a "charcoal-like" pen and this one i wanted to test out but am unable to find, thank you!!🤞🙏
