- I dared a SOLO trip to MEGHALAYA, one of the most beautiful states of North East India endowed with incredible natural beauty. Well known for Cherapunjjee, the place which receives one of the maximum rainfalls in the world. Meghalaya offers wide lush green valleys, diversified hills, enormous waterfalls and fierce caves.
Watch my entire journey of little less than a month from Delhi to hitchhiking across Meghalaya, to trekking to Double Decker Bridge and Rainbow Falls, to visiting Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls, Dawki, Shnongpdeng, Krang Suri Falls, Jowai, Shillong, Cherrapunjee, Nongkhnum Island and then moving to Nagaland.

Some are saying you should talk in the video but I think you shouldn't do that because uniqueness of your channel is the best shots without any commentary.

If the weather is clear this is the best time to be here in sohra (cherrapunji) that amaizing view waterfall and greeniary.....
The bravest woman I would say! All the way from Delhi to the furthest eastern states of India... that's amazing!
I enjoyed watching your trip to Meghalaya and Nagaland and it made me feel like a fool 😆 because someone from far away have the courage to explore my neighbouring states and the beautiful places they holds while I haven't even been to Nagaland. I'm from Manipur btw and currently staying in Shillong. And yes when I saw all the places I never knew were here in Meghalaya I feel the need to do the same as you did.

Hey Prakriti, great video. We were in Meghalaya during December 2017. Then it was winter and the feel was slightly different from that you had in Meghalaya. Actually we were on a road trip from Kanyakumari to Northeast India (Nagaland, Meghalaya, and Assam).

1) What things I need to take care of while planning for the trip?
2) Since you've been there personally, what time of the year would you suggest to go for this trip?
3) I read quite a few comments and to one of those you regarding the trip cost, you replied 8.6K which is pretty impressive. How many days long was the trip, the time excluding your trip back and forth to Delhi?
4) What equipments did you use to shoot and for editing the video?
4) Could you send me the link to your blog where you've mentioned more about the trip? since I saw one of the comments where you replied you were gonna write a blog soon.
If not, could you actually Email me the details please? Whatever you think is important... idk if that's too painstaking...

I think you missed the winea falls, very close to Nongkhunam river island beach. It's a must watch place. I worked in Shilling as a resident doctor for 5 months and believe me the only reason I choose to work there was only to travel, lols!Your video is wonderful and you have traveled some places which I missed. But you didn't go down to the bottom of Tyrshi falls and behind the water column of Krangsuri. These are crazy places! We did an insane late-evening trek to the basin of sweet falls, the place is actually banned for its infamous history of many accidental deaths. Anyway, keep making such videos (Y)

Awesome vdo. Shillong is a lovely tourist spot. It is the mini Scotland of the East. The best time to visit Shillong is from October to March.

Hello Vishesh, I will right an article in a day or two about stay. Other than that the budget trip would cost around 15k per head for a 6-7 days trip. I hope this helps :)
