Don't forget to go to Dawki it is a place worth visiting with many spectacular scenic attractions like the crystal clear river which occurs in these months only like from Nov to March.

With that view of cherrapunji its hard to believe that it is 2nd wettest place on earth.
You missed driving to Cherra in the rainy season with fog so thick you wouldn’t see 10 feet and then suddenly a gush of wind would blow it away and you would have sunshine.

In Cheerapunji, you can visit places like wei saw dong falls, nohkalikai fall , mawsmai cave , arlum arwah caves , khoh ramhah monument , a living root bridges , thangkarang park where you can see Bangladesh etc.

The ride to dawki is worth it.
What happened was very unfortunate but its rare nowdays, it used to happen a lot during the 1980s.
My father who is a doctor was "kidnapped" by the rebels, but they were super nice to him, and even paid him for the services.
Who wouldn't love to get kidnapped by some lovely kidnappers dude... Your father is ver lucky :D

It's true brother,I'm from shillong i know that robbery happened almost every time in those areas not only to tourist but for local also, because those robber are from Bangladesh . sorry to hear such incidents
@Mrinmoy Gogoi No brother, i have a relative from nearby dawki, he was held at gun point and the took everything,there are some areas that villagers have to patrol at night because Bangladeshi came and loot everything

Was riding through Assam and Meghalaya in October this year, Frenchy is bringing back all the memories. The place where he ended his video in Sohra ( Cherrapunji) has an amazing restaurant, 7th Trepp is its name ig, amazing place, amazing people..Megahalaya is a paradise.

India is really beautiful but not everyone have the guts to explore and experience the real India like u r doing. Foriegners usually go to Delhi , Mumbai,Varanasi but not other places but india is not about just these three places it's much more ❤️❤️❤️

dont know if you'll see this comment but Meghalaya is a very beautiful state and from there onwards i would recommend you to go to Arunachal . you'll get to see more bends , snow , chillier weather etc etc. its super beautiful as well. Many more new off the grid places to visit. In our place there are two. Natural swimming pool above waterfalls with caves and great dangerous road to ride.

Bro Dawki is amazing the Green Transparent Umngot River(Camping is also available, I have been there ! , then there's Mawlynnong , Aisa 's cleansest village, living root bridge.Its worth visiting trust me.
