There have been around 20 trillion trillion (trillion 2 times is not a typo) sentient life forms, including trillions of mammals and 10s of billions of humans, that have been tortured and violated and raped and molested and degraded and murdered by nature. it's been happening for 100s of millions of years, on a global scale without even 1 second of pause in the action .~ ~ Life is without question the worst function in the known universe. But DNA psychology seems to have a literally undying dedication to ignoring this. Perhaps it all seems "deep and spiritual and beautiful" when you're whitewashing 540 million years worth of collateral damage. So what's the rest of the pricetag looking like? Why is this happening? And what exactly goes through someone's head, when they conduct a life experiment with a DNA code that literally invented torture, and yet they have the nerve to act surprised when things go wrong? ~ ~ Because DNA evolution is just an error code, it is literally mutants and mutation, not even mutating on purpose, and the entire mutant code was strung together by chaotic incident of physics. It does not know what it's doing, or that you even exist - neither DNA nor the universe has anyone's back. ~ That also means this much harm is being caused for no sane purpose. You've probably seen people acknowledge life has no purpose, but The DNA Delusion creeps back in like a virus, "Life has no purpose... so you make up your own." That means senseless torture is being caused for a made-up purpose.~ ~ Even supposed intellectual, rational, secular thinkers can't seem to let this notion go: "The universe created life so that it could..." - just keeps missing the point - not only of this philosophy but of evolution's truth entirely. It didn't do anything so anything.~ ~ And this is precisely the knowledge that the philosophies of ‘Efilism’ and ‘Antinatalism’ are trying to spread to make the madness stop.
There is also another factor to this than the pure numbers: Deaths related to nuclear, and renewable energy sources are nearly exclusively related to accidents, while the deaths related to fossil fuels are overwhelmingly a result of regular operation. Accidents can never be eliminated completely, but they can be reduced in frequency and severtiy by good preventative measures. So the potential death numbers of these energy sources are even lower, while fossil fuels will just keep on killing until they are phased out.
To add on; this is why these other sources get such shock value. It's easier to see something that kills 100 people instantly. It's a lot harder to see something that kills 1000 people over the span of a year.
@@steeledminer616 2 people died in Chernobyl instantly due to the blast. 28 in the weeks following due to radiation poisoning. That's *it*. 30 people. Fukushima killed nobody.
@@CircusFoxxo Oh sure but I was just illustrating the key reason the shock value exists with blown up numbers. But you're right the reality is it's a lot tamer than that.

We need to spread the word brother, if more people become aware about how good nuclear energy is we can create enough pressure to convince politicians to make more nuclear power plants. I recommend everyone to share this video to as many people as they can.
i really need a nuclear fusion video from kurzgesagt. recent developments and such. once we get these babys running, every other energy production methode will be a thing of the past. and it will be 100% clean aswell
I would really like that. Especially, as I lately hear more and more about breeder reactors, which can burn normal nuclear waste and produce waste that only has a half life of 50 years.

As a German, it really pisses me off that we have phased out nuclear energy in favour of brown coal (Braunkohle). It is so much more of an immediate, albeit less tangible danger. Had Chernobyl not happened, I think many more countries would be using nuclear power today
@@aurelia8028 to be honest, they just did it in order to get reelected. There was a whole movement against nuclear energy before the turn of the century (that I wasn't alive for) that put a lot of pressure on them, apparently enough for them to crumble.
@@aurelia8028 it was because of big Public Demonstrations against atomic Energie (Atom? Nein danke). Many people are afraid of the atomic waste. Its the first thing people think about. I can partially understand the fear from some people regarding nuclear reactions. However, I feel that many disregard the fact that it is virtually impossible for another nuclear accident to occur in power plants that utilize modern technology. In a modern day nuclear plant, there are a high number of fail-safes to ensure that no meltdown occurs. There are also plants that utilize much safer energy sources to ensure that rogue reactions (which aren’t common to begin with) or problems with materials don’t occur- for example, Thorium is extremely safe compared to Uranium (look up Sam Onella’s video regarding Thorium for more information in a similar vain to Kurzgesagt). One other problem that many people have is the radiation involved with nuclear reactions. While it is true that this is an issue that can’t be absolutely prevented- protective barriers, suits, and other measures are taken but are not absolute- this video really hit the nail saying that it is significantly less likely for people to suffer side effects or death in comparison to all other forms of energy. The numbers just don’t lie. Nuclear waste is an issue that’s also difficult to combat, but it’s leaps and bounds easier than trying to revert all the damage that the atmosphere and environment have taken through the use of fossil fuels. Worst comes to worse it is theoretically possible that we could launch all nuclear waste into space (just my own speculation), but I’d much rather deal with getting rid of nuclear waste later than trying to deal with an exponentially growing problem that jeopardizes all life on the planet in the form of air pollution and global warming. With the modern measures taken to ensure that accidents are a near impossibility and how efficient they are, I really think that the fear of such powerful technology needs to be trusted more as the processes get even safer.
The main problem we face is making sure we properly dispose of the waste; we have so much of if stored above ground near major water sources in the U.S. that millions could be exposed to radiation poisoning if we don't do something about it in the near future. But yeah, in the long run, I'll take nuclear plants over fossil fuels any day: at least we can deal with nuclear waste!
If you think about it nuclear waste is the only waste that is being contained. Launching into space is not practical. Too heavy and there's a chance of launch failure/explosion. Burying underground is the best way. Remember that nuclear fuel is diluted with solids and molten glass to a point where it's radiating much less which means it's decaying slower which is the reasons it radiates for such a long time in the first place. It can not leak, it doesn't crack and release fumes, it's pretty much inert and just radiates a little bit. It's really not that bad. Combine that with the massive energy density..
@@TheBestAround131 You could place a nuclear waste castor in your garden and it wouldn't be bad. Some company once started placing them above ground and the only reason they stopped was because of massive backlash driven by people who irrationally assumed it's extremely dangerous and could be weaponized.
Imean, ejecting all of it into space there's going to be an accident, and I don't think there's something much worse than pumping a metric ton of nuclear waste over Houston.
This reminds me of that one spongebob quote: "He poisoned our water supply, burned our crops, and delivered a plague unto our houses!" "He did?" "Well no, but are we going to wait around until he does??"
@@Mystarr111 Iran already has a nuclear power plant. Also making nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons are two vastly different things. Stop fear mongering.
This completely changed my point of view on nuclear power. I thought it was more dangerous than fossil fuels. I’m so glad I stumbled across this video.
It's still very dangerous, an accident can leave an area uninhabitable for generations. We really need to PERFECT nuclear energy before we completely phase out fossil fuels. Trust me, I really want nuclear energy to phase it out, but we need to improve the technology and perhaps find better alternatives before we do. Solar energy is something we could definitely use and could be utilized better. One thing really holding us back though, is greedy companies that profit from fossil fuels and buy political power
@@etholus1000 Newer nuclear tech is far safer than the older reactors. In addition, radioactivity of waste can be reduced by re-using the spent fuel. I can't explain the process but it leads to a significant reduction in the level of radioactivity in spent rods. The only hurdle is the cost.
Think about it like this: we are used to fossil fuel deaths. Those deaths are consistent every year and we accept it as reality. BUT nuclear deaths happen every 14+ years and I'm reality the the most worrisome nuclear disasters are even more rare. A 50 yr old would have seen 2 nuclear disasters and would think that nuclear is bad. But that same man would not notice the constant fossil fuel deaths around him
Like said in the video, our brain is not capable of noticing slow changes. Plus coal deaths are indirect and similar to some non-coal deaths while radiation isn't. This is probably the reason it's so demonized
When something is common and a seemingly unstoppable problem, people see it more as a force of nature than an active decision to sacrifice those people. But with nuclear energy, it's seen as an active choice to kill people that, if we didn't use it, could be avoided.
It's like an example I heard of with cigarettes. Imagine if cigarettes were perfectly safe, but some were replaced with a stick of dynamite that violently blew the smokers' head off. The number replaced is such that the annual death toll of smoking is the same as reality. The same number of people are dying, but the outcry in this scenario would be enormous. The deaths are shocking, obvious, and not concentrated on the elderly (who's deaths are viewed as more acceptable, since old people die anyway, nihilistic I know, but that's how human psychology works).
It's like comparing airplanes to cars. More people die in car accidents than plane accidents per usage, but every plane accident is so large that it seems much more scary.
also plane accidents are more scary because you can't do anything about it as a passenger, but for like driving a car you still have some control if getting into an accident
After working in nuclear for almost a decade, I agree it is the safest. The safety culture of nuclear (at least in the US) is pushed very hard. A lot of training goes into even being able to access the sites. Almost all maintenance outages that I have worked have had no OSHA recordables, and many not even minor first aids.
Not just in the United States, (Or USA or US or America if you prefer any of those nicknames) Canada's most Important Province, Ontario, gets most of their power from Reactors and might even be safer than America's reactors.
Chernobyl is really a double-edged sword for Nuclear as an option. On the one hand, the screwup there made sure everyone became much more aware of the risks and determined to make sure it never happens again. But on the other hand, it’s also the example everyone uses as to why Nuclear is dangerous. That, and the fact that Chernobyl itself won’t be safe for about 20,000 years, which sounds so much worse than greenhouse gases and heavy metals.

We do need it, as nuclear is the only energy source with which we can make it through alive, but people are against it based on comics of mutants and pretty much nothing concrete.
especially because nuclear waste could just be stored on the reactor site or i could be processed in smaller fast breeding reactors. But nobody uses them because thez produce even more plutonium then common nuclear reactors.
Nuclear reactors produce very little of the stuff. What they do produce occupies very little space. It is easy to contain and safely store. It has never killed anyone or made anyone ill. It consists mostly of U-238, which can be fissioned in fast reactors. The amount of energy that could be liberated by fissioning the nuclear material in the US's stockpile of nuclear waste would be enough to meet current US energy demand for around 1,000 years.

It's really sad, I feel like that is one of the main reasons why my (the german) government pushes so hard against nuclear power. The "Atomkraft Nein Danke" movement was really harmful for the switch to cleaner and sustainable energy.
How do I get to heaven? Will my good deeds be measured against my bad deeds? Do I need to be a good person to go to heaven? How do I know if I'm good enough? Well the bible says no man is good, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. So how do we get to heaven? Answer: By believing on Jesus Christ who took the punishment for our sin on the cross. There are no amount of good works we can do to achieve salvation because salvation is a free gift of God. We need to humble ourselves, realize we are sinners and that we need a savior. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave his only son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
"We don't have anywhere to store used nuclear fuel, so it's bad" Well, we don't really have a good place to store fossil fuel emissions, but that hasn't stopped anyone
But we do have great places to store nuclear fuel, in fact, inspectors of dry cask storage units for spent fuel on site receive less radiation exposure than pilots
Even if you not include all deaths from the wars for Oil and the indirect death caused by the economic and violence problems around Oil producers countries, I think it will still be a bigger number.
okay, lets move to nuclear power NO WE DON'T WANT TO DIIIIEIEEEEEEEEE? I would say COVID has a 98.8% survival rate, but obviously it is the cowardly that survive, not the curious.
I know this is an old video but I feel the need to comment. I have worked in nuclear power my entire adult life, and it is far safer than almost everything else. I feel like the major issue is that the general public is extraordinarily uninformed about nuclear power, and how it actually works. It seems like the majority of uneasiness about it is that the vast majority of people know next to nothing about it. They also know next to nothing about fossil fuels, and as such form an uneducated opinion based of 2-3 accidents that occurred decades ago. They have no idea the number of deaths that occur annually with traditional fuels vs nuclear, which is in the thousands for coal and basically 0 for nuclear. There is a lot of doom saying about nuclear, but as a short term option, it's as good as it's going to get.
I’m still gonna support renewables over nuclear. I understand how safe nuclear is, but the resources are still finite. You still gotta dig the stuff out of the ground and there’s only so much of it.
@@tyjones3566 Currently, Solar panels in industry can last ~20 years being generous, they’re made of rare earth metals that are more *finite* than fertile and fissile materials for nuclear, the idea of solar energy seems to produce the illusion that’ll last forever, but the stuff required to make the panels isn’t as common as you might think, and can certainly run out when you need thousands of panels to match a single reactor during daylight hours, and then every panel needs replacing as well. Your intuition is good but it leaves out a few critical details
To be fair, plane accidents that happened are fairly dramatic and do often result in pretty big numbers, even if they don't happen nearly as often as organ donor events

The biggest difference between Fukoshima and Chrynoble is that in Chrnobyle the reactor lit blew while in Fukoshima it held. Everything around the reactor core was absolutely devastated but the core itself held. it was concerned about image as the greatest country of the world. RBMKs have had several similar accidensts that did not escalated into full core meltdowns. They were not modelled properly (mostly because there were no tools for the job in USSR) and many little caveats of the operation were unknown to the operators because core design was based on the military production reactors (which also served as district heating and generators for closed cities). The other reactor - VVER (PWR type) had much better operational experience, but even USSR was unable to manufacture pressurized vessels (forged steel) in required amounts. Lack of energy for heavy industries pushed development of cheap design, dependent on graphite blocks and welded pipes - no really heavy machinery required.

I raised my hand one day in school during a discussion about renewable energy and tried to make a point about nuclear energy. Some kids were like 'Pah! Haven't you heard of Chernobyl?!' But a surprising amount agreed that it was one of the safest if managed correctly.
@LongShot No, sadly not everyone agrees with that. There are many, in the USA especially that would rather see the few thrive and watch millions die. Mostly out of spite, greed, and religious reasons.
@LongShot Part of that’s true, but you can’t deny that throughout history there have always been people who couldn’t care less about the loss of human lives.

Devastated to hear that Germany's closing down its nuclear plants. It seems like the most approachable path for the future, I'd love to see a video discussing the arguments for (and of course against) it as a whole. I'm curious what it might look like if we were to 100% replace fossil fuels with a blend of nuclear and renewables.
@@ghostnoodle9721 also the statement "america spread capitalism" is historically inaccurate since almost all 1st world countries had capitalism well before the US was even a country. In fact, the US started as a state backed capital venture to try and establish colonies in the americas to add the local rescources to the international market. Even in 130 BC there were capitalist traders who would buy goods from oriental nations and bring them to middle eastern and european markets on the silk road.
Not even in the field at all and I feel the same, the only problem with it besides the waste (which is frankly a bit overblown these days) is making sure the safety equipment is up to requirements which sadly some companies skip doing to save costs even though frankly just getting it done would save more in the overall costs.
@@Tashyncho-Sapa Renewables are actually what is pure shit. Nuclear reactors provide base load energy 92% of the time, something solar and wind could never compete with. At times Germany is generating so much energy it needs to dump it on it's neighbours, other times it generates so little it needs to buy it from France. If everyone does it, there could be major black outs across entire regions. Renewables simply do not work. Nuclear is the future, and unless more people figure that out soon, humanity is history.
Deep emotional investments in scapegoats to demonize the same way that the right wingers demonized cannabis so well for so long. Toxic and irrational tribalism is quite a problem. They won't believe that nicotine and alcohol are drugs, the left doesn't want to believe that the sun is a poorly shielded nuclear reactor that kills at least 100,000 people a year with skin cancer. And by the way, you know anyone who has been harmed by nuclear waste? Contrast this with a danger we like, our cars. Does anyone here NOT know, has never seen anyone harmed by a motor vehicle? Which is feared more?
This was my exact thought when he mentioned the temporary coal plants in Germany. It's baffling to see how so many countries are still increasing their dependence on coal and other fossil fuels. Closing down nuclear plants is a major step backwards regarding a cleaner, safer and more livable world.
Nevermind the complete disruption of the entire solar system and all those who live in it. Grandiose humanity needs to be grandiose. Ok ill be less nasty. I am not sure we should build a dyson sphere, just because we can. The only reason i can see is that we would ‘need’ it, given our exponential growth in energy demand. The thing with exponential growth is, though, that we will NEVER be satisfied, not even if we grow. And that makes me look at the practical value of building a dyson sphere much less positively.
I would really like to see an in depth video on nuclear waste. I've heard that some of the waste can be reused as fuel again. Thank you for all your awesome content!
@@beastrule Is that so, though? It is my understanding that we could easily be at 100% renewable energy sources today, had we started thirty years ago... @@tilmanvogel2387 renewable energy sucks. nuclear power is just the way to go and then we replace it with fusion. easy. done. no need to pump more toxic chemicals into our air to make solar panels. no need to replace ten million parts on wind turbines every 3 seconds. the emissions and damage of nuclear power is like 0.1 out of 100 where as renewable energy is much worse compared to it. its just not as profitable which is why people are pushing for it, over nuclear power.
@@FWAKWAKKA Interesting view! What about the radioactive waste, though? Have they figured out how to use it all up yet? And how are people 'pushing for renewables', when nuclear power has been receiving that much more state money for decades? Also worth mentioning: Why would China have any reason to believe the Soviets about anything, including the dam. If a person who never told the truth, told another person that they need to tell the truth in a particular instance, why should they take that advice from the person who has never told the truth, they wouldn't is the answer.
The fact that Germany is dismantling nuclear plants in favor of coal is heart breaking. Edit: Their decision certainly did not age well after the invasion of Ukraine :(
I think it's a bad decision as well, but that is being said with the knowledge about nuclear energy we have today. Don't forget how close Germany is to the Ukraine, the radiation spread to Germany, radioactive clouds were raining radioactive water for a while, people were afraid to go outside. And fear is the most powerful weapon when it comes to controlling people. The German "government" is just a bunch of lobby puppet masters, the coal lobby saw their chance and took it. The only thing I don't quite understand is how of all things the green party led the fight against nuclear power. The frustrating thing about Germany is that because of the growth of renewable energy, nuclear plants have the power to make the electricity mix nearly climate-neutral. edit: After the Chernobyl accident affected Germany via radioactive clouds and after Fukushima, there was a fear of having a nuclear accident in the country, which some of the antinuclear institutions of Germany took advantage of and pressured the government to decommission all nuclear power plants. The government gave in to those requests. I'm simplifying this, but it's good enough. There are lots of articles if you really care that much about Germany's nuclear phase-out.

Should have added one detail: a large source of radiation is coal. Trace amounts of radioactive material is found in coal, which is then burned and dispersed in the atmosphere. The radiation levels in many coal power plants would trip radiation alarms at nuclear facilities.
Agreed, but I feel that statement about triggering alarms may be misleading. I am no engineer and don't know the specifics, but I would think radiation in the coal would be expected, while in a nuclear power plant could be an indication of a leaking reactor. Like the level of radiation a coal plant normally has could be a sign of things starting to go horribly wrong in a nuclear plant. We definitely need to double down on nuclear power though. I thin the Eu just made a long term storage facility, deep in the ground, surrounded by minerals capable of filtering out radioactive particles (or something along those lines). I know the waste is more radioactive than the starting materials, but I think deep in the ground in places where it can't leak into surrounding water is not a bad idea. It is where they mined it in the 1st place.
@@Beeklydan I saw a video maybe half a year ago about a deep storage sight in Finland where the used fuel is being backfilled with clay to seal it, which could continue to be filled for many more years. I though it was 100 but I am most definitely wrong
@@Beeklydan So the point was - radiation in coal is expected, which is why it would disqualify a significant area around a coal power plant as a building site for a nuclear power plant for as long as the coal plant operated. And while it may be expected by engineers, the general public (which is by and large afraid of 'radiation') doesn't really know about this and thinks that the only problem of coal is ash. People need to understand this - not only Coal is harsh on miners and can (and has) cause deaths when mined, but spews a carcinogenic soup in the atmosphere PLUS radiation. It's worse no matter by which metric we look at. In general, the "more radioactive" something is, the faster it will decay. The problem with some types of waste is that they are energetic enough to cause damage but not enough to decay quickly. But we can reprocess it(and in some cases re-use as fuel). It requires investment.
Glad someone actually knows that nuclear power isn’t that dangerous even if something goes wrong if you have a fast enough reaction time it isn’t going to be that bad especially if you use thorium and plutonium, not uranium which was used in Chernobyl and Fukushima
First part of your statement is correct but there is no such thing as thorium or plutonium reactors. Thorium could potentially be used in the future but there are no current reactors that use it and plutonium is not naturally occurring, only created in uranium-breeder reactors.
@Morgan Allen no it wouldn't chernobyl was already close to worst case. First the reactors blow up and desolate a whole City where lots of people lived. Still barely anyone has since died because of the radiation. Furthermore the way the wind blew back then sent the radioactivity north West which hit most of east Europe and the nordic countries. This is Pretty bad but still the death count is really small compared to fossil fuels. Also new reactors have been proposed for many years. This might be wrong but i heard about nuclear reactors back in the 70'ies that were more safe and used safer fuels but wasnt used as it couldnt produce atomic weapons. I would Much rather live beside a nuclear powerplant than a fossil fuel plant.
@Morgan Allen If you're talking about the idea that the fuel hitting the water underneath could have created a "megaton" explosion, that's a complete myth and utterly impossible.
Fear of flight is not about death from crashing, it's about having a bad time in a tight space, at high altitude, with little to do, and experiencing unusual movement
I feel like measuring the consequences of an event by deaths alone could be slightly misleading; Id like to know how many people had long-term illness or injuries, as well. Most places downplayed COVID deaths, but fully neglected the long-term cases and disabilities it caused.
When I had a presentation about exactly this 15 years ago back in my German High School - how fission energy being one of the cleanest and safest energy sources to be a bridge technology minimizing the effects of global warming - everyone ridiculed me. I am sad that I was right after all, and that progress is blocked by the fear, stupidity and emotions of fools.
I also remember learning about nuclear energy back in high school (about 10 years ago in the US). I remember ending up in a position to argue the benefits strongly outweigh the risks, and feel vindicated to learn that this still holds up. Furthermore, the past 10 years has highlighted the shadowy yet voluminous impact fossil fuels, and I can only imagine how much clearer that argument will become in the next 10 years. Nuclear has a lot of scary optics with its rare but high stakes accidents and the unsolved problem of its own kind of waste product, but the existing fossil fuel infrastructure is just so clearly worse, overall. I hate when things like business interests and scary optics are used to perpetuate harmful long term decisions at the expense everyone.
If nuclear energy got more popular and got vastly spread as much as dams and such, the chances of anything bad happening would be a lot higher, not to mention the problem of nulcear waste, which is a pretty big problem already. Nulcear fusion would be the best but for now we should go for renewable energy

There have been around 20 trillion trillion (trillion 2 times is not a typo) sentient life forms, including trillions of mammals and 10s of billions of humans, that have been tortured and violated and raped and molested and degraded and murdered by nature. it's been happening for 100s of millions of years, on a global scale without even 1 second of pause in the action .~
~
Life is without question the worst function in the known universe. ~
~
Because DNA evolution is just an error code, it is literally mutants and mutation, not even mutating on purpose, and the entire mutant code was strung together by chaotic incident of physics. It does not know what it's doing, or that you even exist - neither DNA nor the universe has anyone's back.
~
That also means this much harm is being caused for no sane purpose. You've probably seen people acknowledge life has no purpose, but The DNA Delusion creeps back in like a virus, "Life has no purpose... so you make up your own." That means senseless torture is being caused for a made-up purpose.~
~
Even supposed intellectual, rational, secular thinkers can't seem to let this notion go: "The universe created life so that it could..." - just keeps missing the point - not only of this philosophy but of evolution's truth entirely. It didn't do anything so anything.~
~
And this is precisely the knowledge that the philosophies of ‘Efilism’ and ‘Antinatalism’ are trying to spread to make the madness stop.

Lol, just a single nuclear accident will render huge areas unusable. Look for Fukushima, even after 11 years it is still f*cked up

The politicans hust folowed the Public opinion
Imean, ejecting all of it into space there's going to be an accident, and I don't think there's something much worse than pumping a metric ton of nuclear waste over Houston.

yeah, I changed my mom's mind on the subject too
It's still very dangerous, an accident can leave an area uninhabitable for generations.
@etholus1000 did you watch same video everyone else did?
Precisely. See: people are terrified of planes but don't think twice about driving their car (and half of them driving with like 20 distractions).
well, the major problem is all about dealocate people.
Woah
also plane accidents are more scary because you can't do anything about it as a passenger, but for like driving a car you still have some control if getting into an accident

There is a lot of doom saying about nuclear, but as a short term option, it's as good as it's going to get.

it was concerned about image as the greatest country of the world. RBMKs have had several similar accidensts that did not escalated into full core meltdowns. The other reactor - VVER (PWR type) had much better operational experience, but even USSR was unable to manufacture pressurized vessels (forged steel) in required amounts.

Not to mention that those disasters happens years ago and nuclear tech had grown substantially
Yeah true but tbh I rather not live next to a Nuclear power plant which is being planned to be built near where I live
It's like fear of flight even though statistically one is way safer on an aeroplane than in a car in raging road traffic.
I know right? I want my nuclear powered AI-driven flying cars!
@@mightymaster8752 to stop radiation going out. It need an min. Of 1 metere concrete wall plus an steel wall. which is not possible for a car !
You are right airplanes are not dangerous, we should all go on flight right now
Fear of flight is not about death from crashing, it's about having a bad time in a tight space, at high altitude, with little to do, and experiencing unusual movement
Statistically, the most dangerous part of taking a flight is the commute to the airport :D

@@extragarb fusion is the ideal solution, but until then fission is the best we’ve got
If nuclear energy got more popular and got vastly spread as much as dams and such, the chances of anything bad happening would be a lot higher, not to mention the problem of nulcear waste, which is a pretty big problem already. Nulcear fusion would be the best but for now we should go for renewable energy
