Yes. Both him and Mats are very respectful young men. They are faster than me but they waited for me everyday at certain spots even after I told them they didn't have to. But overall, we hike the same mileage everyday.
Really enjoying this series, glad that you got the views through Glen Coe, safe onward journey. I found the climb out of Kinlochleven tougher that the devil's staircase, though it was in torrential rain!
Wow one of the best WHW videos so impressed with the distance you covered, you really showed how tough the section along Loch Lomond after the inversnaid hotel, we completed it the end of March beginning of April and it was wonderful to see the scenery again. 👍
@@drewgilmour3489 your dates would be awesome!! Have a great time!! Are you csmping or B&B (slackpacking)? Part of the SNT is the first 10 miles of WHW. But i think we will be thru there at the end of April
@@hikersheep We are B&B ing it, both me and my hiking partner have done big sections of the AT , I’m at 818 miles so far, my partner has down the long trail , and Inca trail and big sections of the AT
The fall temp? Im not sure. Ive never been to Scotland in the fall. I did the WHW and CWT during May 2023. Then i traveled down to England to do the C2C in June and it was hot
@drewgilmour3489 it was nice. It only rained kinda hard on the first day, 2nd day rain a little bit in the late afternoon and then the last day. Sprinkles every now and then. Just bring a good solid rain jacket and pants though....not some ultralight crap jacket like I got.
im following your journey on the west highland way as i just found your video and im very impressed how fast you doing it well done
So cool....❤
Epic!
How lovely...... the best way to see beautiful Scotland. I hope you get some sunshine, you brave hiker. 🏴.
Hamish the lab brilliant
Really enjoying your videos. It was great you met Jake. I follow him and Becky, both really nice people. Happy trails.

@Dave Bazen yes, starting tomorrow and I'm sick :/
@@hikersheep that's a shame, try to get plenty of rest and keep yourself well hydrated. Hope you feel better tomorrow.

I think that climb out of Kinlochleven seems tougher cause we are already broken from Devils Staircase the day before. Lol
Toe, ball, heel. Gonna try it. 😀 Bobo is lookin well. Have a great day tomorrow.
ToeBallHeel: must try that. Downhills have literally been my downfall, 🤕
Portage oats for breakfast lasts longer
I wish I did a vlog like this but I just don't know how to do it, any help will be appreciated
