I saw your Tiktok video on your golden boots. I do not care much for fashion, as I don't have an eye for it. i thought they were pretty terrible - the boots. My eyes maybe as well. What you wore with those boots was the most impressive fashion decision I have ever seen - not that it means much but still. It was absolutely amazing how you wore them and how you probably saw them and already knew how and with what you would use them. Please, continue what you are doing. Tell us maybe a bit more about a shopping decision you make and the thought process behind it. I would have never come up with your golden boots outsfits. They are incredible. Thank you.
My husband complains about all my jewelry taking up space. Lol I forget what I have sometimes but certainly don’t have expensive pieces. I should ask my mom to keep an eye out for vintage stuff when she goes estate sale-shopping.
BEEN THERE! - I know you totally panicked when the huge vintage gold “pearls” broke. I had that happen to me several times. Gather them up, bag them and get them repaired as soon as you can. I’m a big fan of restringing on a chain (if possible), or even a cable if the piece can take it w/o it showing. Anyhoo, love all of it!…. I have the Egyptian piece as well, except mine is a Heidi Daus collector’s edition replica which is fun but yours is super cut too in a bold colorway. 🥰
Oh dear, I've definitely broken a pearl bracelet the same way, the strings just got so weak they spilled everywhere. Worst feeling is trying to get beads out from under the couch.

Carla, slowly but surely you are having an affect on people. I liked putting things together, (I am an avid op-shopper), but never dared to go out in them. Last time I did, I got a lot of compliments, from stragers. In kind, I am complimenting everybody, who is not wearing a "uniform", who dares to put on a frock. What helps, that I am seventy, with not one notable nice feature, but I am free now. I do it to please myself only. Why did we stop playing dressing up after kindergarten?
