I notice that the older TH-camrs have way more colour going on and look way happier and excited about dressing up than the younger lot who seem to just dress the same old trends in neutrals. I am also a fan of Trinny Woodall and I guess that's why YT led me to your page.

I think the moral is, have fun with your clothes and let them express your personality, rather than to follow trends or look beautiful/cool. If you want to be cool too much you'll never really be cool.
I’m an ex model who worked in nyc and Paris for many years. I’m not my normal size anymore because of health issues. But I’ve never felt more beautiful as when I follow your tips ! I LOVE how you wear flowy dresses! I am inspired to wear more dresses! I never thought that I would look good in dresses, because I don't have a dress body, but I am going to give it a try.

I love dresses and basically that’s all I wear most of the time but flowy dresses don’t look as good on me because of my boobs and body shape. I’m 36 D with a 26” waist. Flowy dresses make me look big for that reason when I’m not. I do look amazing of fitted bodycon ones though.

I LOVE your style tips! I wore an outfit in a style I don’t normally wear, but I felt very inspired by how you theme your outfits. I wanted a more 70s vibe for this look. My 8 year old saw me and said “Momma, you look like the lady you watch on TH-cam!” High praise!! ❤️
I love these longer videos where you demonstrate how colors mesh with more than one outfit. I never had the confidence to wear color when I was younger so now at 63 its the perfect time to enjoy the heck out of it.

I’m a 67 year old retired NYer now living in Florida - wearing mostly tennis garb, bathing suits, shorts and flip flops. I’m happy this way after conservatively dressing up for 40+ years for my career. But you make me wanna wear color and go big with personality. Truly believe that you’ll now always be in my head when I’m getting dressed to go out and for that I thank you!!

I always thought colour blocking is wearing colours together that "bite" each other, such as pink with yellow, or red with purple. But then you overdo it so much that it ends up matching again. Seems I was wrong.
Also I was taught "grün und blau das trägt doch keine sau". This is German and means "green with blue, no pig will wear this". But I never understood why that would be a rule. I am glad you confirmed that green and blue go well with each other 💙💚

As someone who usually wears oversized button-ups, I'll take the advice about the criss-cross and tuck! I'd always button it all the way down and stuff it into the pants, which doesn't always feel the most comfortable. Thanks!

that yellow dress is so great. I wear a uniform...all black all the time. black leggings with a tunic length tank top and then whatever seasonally appropriate cardigan/arm covering (I have a sheer one and a sleeveless one for when it's really hot) I basically look like I wear the same exact thing every day but..it's just my thing. 🤷

Hi, I have been following you for a year now. You cheer me up each time I see you. Being an Indian I am a big fan of colors but I don't what to look too out there and then may get a racist look. But now starting in London for almost 15 years I have now decided to add colours back to my wardrobe. In India I used to go to the simster and design my own dresses I dearly miss those days as we only have ready made clothing. Also about my vintage clothing I call them vintage but they are not really I have got good pair of trousers which I got it in 2009 and I still have them and was thinking 🤔 I houder my wardrobe by them. But now after seeing your collection I feel it alright to keep things you love. Although I am not able to get back in those throuser anymore but I do plan to get inthem someday.
If you can please also share good brand or shops for good quality cotton, linan silk but not polyester and satin wears then please do share. Lots of love ❤️💕😍

The Criss-cross trick is super great if, like me, you have a triangle body shape, because often to get a shirt that buttons across my hip, it has to be huge everywhere else. It's like I'm a size four at the top of my body and an 8-10 the further you go down...So I can just unbutton to where it starts to strain and then use the criss cross to fill in. LOVE IT. (Also great for men's shirts since they NEVER go across my hips unless they are giant.)
