It has been 6 years now from the day I came home at a late sunday night and found my wife had passed away in our bed. Not knowing this I got ready to go to sleep next to her. After kissing her softly to let her know I came home, I found out her lovely soul had left her. This song breaks my heart every time I hear it, but I still love it. It doesn't make me feel sad or lonely, but makes me feel the love I had (have) for the lady that had shared some of her years with me. She passed away at just 46 years old. I miss you my lady

That sounds like a very sad story. I am sorry to hear about your loss. Despite it was so much time ago I believe it would be wise to express my condolences. Judging by the fact you still remember and honor her memory after so many years I'd say that it's a rose that never died, as the lyrics of the song say. I hope that everything has been good in your life since then and that you are fine now.

@@anthonymaccherone I can see why she hates it. He even says, "though in your grave you lie." That would creep me out too, if I were her. As a goth-romance kind of song about fictitious people, it's great. As a song about a real person, it is kind of creepy.
Lyrics: My Lady d'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still? I'll wake you tomorrow And you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill My Lady d'Arbanville why does it grieve me so? But your heart seems so silent Why do you breathe so low, why do you breathe so low My Lady d'Arbanville why do you sleep so still? I'll wake you tomorrow And you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill La la la la la My Lady d'Arbanville why does it grieve me so? But your heart seems so silent Why do you breathe so low, why do you breathe so low I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie I'll always be with you This rose will never die, this rose will never die I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie I'll always be with you

My Grandpa used to love this song, he sang it with or for my grandma. On November 2023 he passed away so we decided to play this song at his funeral.. This Song is a masterpiece and if it starts playing we know he's with us and watching over us.
My father loves this song he is grandpa now and still playing this song . So lovely voice

I am Lady D'arbanville. Thanks Yusuf . I love this song.
Actually Lady D'arbanville hates that song. She is my neighbor and friend. She says the song makes her sound like she is dead.
yes,i am too😉
@@anthonymaccherone I can see why she hates it. He even says, "though in your grave you lie." That would creep me out too, if I were her. As a goth-romance kind of song about fictitious people, it's great. As a song about a real person, it is kind of creepy.
I think Yusuf has several songs on the lady.
@@simonbeneli4029 😉😂
I remember being a kid and this song always playing since my dad loved Cat's music

Lyrics:
My Lady d'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still?
I'll wake you tomorrow
And you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill
My Lady d'Arbanville why does it grieve me so?
But your heart seems so silent
Why do you breathe so low, why do you breathe so low
My Lady d'Arbanville why do you sleep so still?
I'll wake you tomorrow
And you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill
My Lady d'Arbanville, you look so cold tonight
Your lips feel like winter
Your skin has turned to white, your skin has turned to white
My Lady d'Arbanville, why do you sleep so still?
I'll wake you tomorrow
And you will be my fill, yes, you will be my fill
La la la la la
My Lady d'Arbanville why does it grieve me so?
But your heart seems so silent
Why do you breathe so low, why do you breathe so low
I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie
I'll always be with you
This rose will never die, this rose will never die
I loved you my lady, though in your grave you lie
I'll always be with you
Bezaubernd,auch nach so vielen Jahren,danke❤❤
Mich gruselt es immer bei diesem Song.
