Can’t Stop is relatively easy and so is Snow the only challenge I face with snow is playing it with my strap really low and sometimes when singing the lead vocals I get to stuck up in playing the guitar riff especially right after the first chorus!
This riff to me is easier then can’t stop. And I don’t think people get it wrong in terms of notes and all that, it’s mainly the muting, but even more so the muting with the right feel and letting the notes have some space between them the right way
Such a warmness on the soul when you come back here after years and realize that actually you don't need tabs anymore 'cause you are so skilled that you can play it by ear just like anything... More than a feeling. :D
didn't even know about these kind of harmonies. Another kind of perseption knowing what actually it is, and it is just... beautiful. Thank you Nicola for awesome tutorials!
Guys a tip that is working for me is first master the zephyr song slane castle version. Hammer ons, finger shapes, strings picking are very similar in my opinion (and easy pace).
I've been working on the main riff for over a year now. If any of you need a practice track, there's a youtube video that is a 10 minute loop of the opening riff. I can keep up with it on 75% speed for maybe two cycles and I start messing it up. (Search Snow intro loop to find that video)
@@dominikkurowski3145 That's good advice. It is pretty cool how walking away from something and coming back to it makes such a difference. Lately, I've been taking a little bit of a break from trying to play Chili Peppers. I've been playing Metallica, 311 and trying to learn my first Van Halen song the last week or so.
I’ve been playing for 6 months, practicing a few hours a day leisurely- approximately how long until I get this? (I got the full master of puppets into in an hour at almost full speed 2 months ago)
Love the harmony part! Well done for fitting everything on one screen! Maybe a topic for future videos would be: theory behind all the JF harmony work on Stadium Arcadium tracks! Would love to learn the science behind it ;D As always HVALA Nikola!!!
Awsome video and nice playing although the original goes at a 105 bpm while you go at 83 bpm. Which is still really awsome but just a little info for people would like to play ot like the original. It goes slighlty faster
Is this possible to play with short fingers? I barely reach where I am supposed to with my pinky finger and it strains a freaking lot! Help would be great , thanks
@ASHDODMEN There are different files for every guitar. There should be 4 PDF files. It was unreadable when I put all 4 guitars in one PDF. The bridge is a bit different in the video in terms of strumming but the notes are the same. I think both versions are correct depending on how you strum it. Send me an email if you can't find the other files. Sorry for the inconvenience

The final boss of RHCP guitar lessons
The final boss is actually Can't Stop
@@черчеркесский Can’t Stop isn’t bad at all tbh, try playing this riff flawlessly for a few seconds, let alone 5 minutes

Snow and Can’t Stop are the equivalent of the Godskin Duo boss fight from Elden Ring.

Danm congratulations!
Hope to be like this one day, I am just starting out on an electric. Congratulations my man.
Damn I hope I can feel that soon too

Mine started smoking. I had to run and put it under the faucet.
You're lucky. My arms fell off.

Literally been trying to learn this. Perfect timing! Awesome as always

you should try to play different hard riffs/solos/songs then when you come back to it you find it alot easier

Most overplayed RHCP riff, most wrongly played RHCP riff! Thank you,Nikola!❤
I'd say that's Can't Stop really.
@@iamglued-so9mq can't stop is kind of difficult to play while this one is much easier but it's tempo is trickier
he meant cant stop was the most wrongly played song, most people dont mute the other strings and strum@@vatacale
Level Pro: Play Snow
Level God: Play and Sing Frusciante's part 😂😢
so accurate
Wow simply the best guitar lesson ever.😮😮😮🎉🎉🎉
I've been able to play the main riff, but those others are a real enrichment for me. They sound soooo awesome❤
those 2nd bridge harmony gtrs sound so goood!
Learning The Zephyr Song unlocked the Snow riff for me, no joke
It does feel similar
Bro, so true, the same for me! Specially because i learned zephyr song Slane castle version which there are similar hammer ons in the beginning!!
Sounds sick!!
Thank you!!! BSSM stuff please!
Thank you @chrisheria @thenx Thank you! Helping me stay in better shape for my Tae Kwon Do workouts. You’re a tough dude. Peace❤
How are your hammer ons and pull offs so articulate and clean? Damn I need to practice more lol.
Thank you it was so good 🎉🎉
What a beast

That c# is brutal
Daqui 100 anos eu consigo chegar nesse nível 😂😂😂😅😅😅😄😄😄
You recorded perfect take, congrats 🎸
It's that C#madd9 for me! 😬 - Tricky chord.
Not that hard than I thought, thanks man
are all videos recorded at 66% speed? what speed setting should i set the youtube video so that playback is normal speed
x1.25 should be the original tempo

Many thanks for your content!
This was kinda easy.... I just started six months ago and I can play it ✊🏾✊🏾
But can you play it for 5 minutes without mistake?
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
do you know if john alternate picks this or not? especially for the first note of each bar, and does it matter much?
He does. You can see his technique in live shows.

Hardest song of RHCP
Thank you
İs this the original bpm
No, the actual song is played at 105 bpm.
The main riff is one of those that non musicians think is so easy to play...
Help ma fretboards are all sweat with some Broken Fingers.
Olds remember the old video))
Heyyy you!
My reaction to him playing it effortlessly 😐. I've been trying to learn for a while
Can you do some of bigmouth strikes again?
Good suggestion!!
listening to this, then going to listen to the original speed makes the original seem very fast, like it's sped up
Nikola, please could you please do a tutorial of Dear God by A7x? 🥺
If you playback at 1.25 you are very close to original tempo, just in case that helps anyone
Exceptional Lesson Nikola, Exceptional!!! could you do the Yardbirds "I Ain't Got You" with Clapton on guitar? Thanks for the consideration...
if you want me to stay, pleasee!!
Super,hello guitarist 🙏❤️🍀🎼🎶🎵👌✌️🎸
Nikola! Can you please do a Scar Tissue at Slane Castle intro tutorial? 😊
He has one but calls it by the way outro and has another one attached to his recent by the way video
❤❤❤
Justin Hawkins the Clown hates this guitar work
Hey nikola, what is the picking pattern you do for the main riff?
Hi Richard. I do alternate picking on the main riff. Just like John is playing it. It can also be done with economy picking (down - down - up)
Nice ❤️👍👍🌹🌹
Я купил у тебя табы этой песни и они очень отличаются от этого видео , нету соло вообще, бридж по другому немного записан , почему так ?

🤘😈
🎸
Just noticed that it’s only on the bottom four strings. You know what that means.
as a classical music guitarist tjis is easy asf
As a metal guitarist it's easy asf
Yeah this isn't to hard. Mind you I took some speed before I started but it's a fun riff
The main riff is not that hard actualy. Got it down in like 5 minutes
All the the time i played the part after hammer-on WRONG
Huhhh.... My fingers its hurt😢😂
РАЈ!
guitars don't like little fingers
It not to hard guys
You hear it easy to play.. JUST TRY IT 😵💫😈
The middle finger doesn't play here (main riff)
Without John's music, RHCP's songs would be pathetic stuff.
Wow you are cooked
Thanks for sharing! No one cares!
@@gewittervonwahrheit5032 You don't care anymore. thanks for sharing)
they really gotta do literally anything about sound from strings you dont want, so you dont have to turn your hand into a double knot.
